Well after something like 5 minutes, the difference in opener doesn't affect that much the damage done. Something like 0.2% difference if I remember well.

At the same time, I don't understand the interest of what you are doing compared to a 'classical' opener. It asks for more timing, knowledge of your tank... In brief much less robust for the same result. Why would someone do that?

Well, I'd show you graphs and parses if it wasn't against the EULA. You can hit me up in game though, or you're welcome to try yourself At 0 TP, after 2 invigorates, the same damage is done with both openers. The only thing the traditional one gives me is a higher spike after 10 seconds. The one I posted gives a higher spike right away and I recoup later on. Same difference. Numbers speak for themselves.

does your spike around 650?
if not then somethings wrong.

How much dps should I do on T7? An intensive value is also really good (such as the percentage compared to a dummy) as it does not depend on the gear.

T7 and T8 should be near your maximum DPS 490+, and that number you should be hitting would decrease slightly for voices and quite a bit for Shrieks, and for T8 every duty that takes you off the boss would decrease it as well.

So in short for T7 it can be pretty random what the max you would be doing is, and T8 it depends on what your party makes you do. In my party I don't have duties but I'm back up if someone is dead, has field, etc. Which works well for hitting high DPS. But it's pretty common for Monks to have duties that will decrease DPS.

Always like to learn new stuff - even better if it helps. though still need to practise though to keep up the GL (like you said). have a hard time to clip GL - does SS matters? have 379 with my current gear

edit: ok damn it seems like a ss problem... switched to HA claws, didnt had any problems anymore as with 46 crit/32 nexus ;_;
editedit: yeeep, pretty sure now it's because of my low ss. once i change to HA claws, I always manage to keep GL. damnit. Someone an idea how I can past this with Nexus? [or future gear, where ppl dont hit 400+ ss?]

Ah yeah it seems after i just tested trying it with 368 ss i could not get it to work either you need close to or around 400 ss I know cause ive done it at very low 400 in the past i do use the glanzfaust cant afford novus and nexus yet )= glad you like the opener tho been able to burst 560 recently with some lucky crits lol

Are you opening with ToD as well? If so, at low speed you're gonna need to wait until the GCD finishes up to do the PB opener part .
