So, like anyone that's interested in the balance of pvp, I spent most of the opening days of the patch trying out healing with the cleric stance nerf, and I have to say, it's not really a big deal. And yes, I played healers before nerf as well (mostly as sch too, which I figured would be much more affected by this change). The only down side is healer vs healer, 1v1 is even more of a tickle fight. To be honest, I think this change has only made bringing dps more important (though I imagine that an all healer group could still camp a flag pretty well using sch knockbacks and lots of HoTs...), since healer dps is so pitiful.

As for the whole, "it lowers the skill cap"/ "makes healing boring" thing... was cleric stance even that difficult to use? I never had that much trouble; I guess I was doing something wrong. It felt like it only really gets used when there's very little incoming damage to worry about, which essentially means the enemy had already lost. Can a dps take you from 100% to 0% in 5 seconds (without an lb, of course)? That's an honest question; I haven't had that ever happen to me, nor have I ever done it to another healer. It's for that reason that that healing reduction feels like it's not even there. Anytime I'd need to heal, I'd never be in that stance or I'd just use a heal that ignores that penalty. So, in the end, it doesn't feel like cleric stance added that much to the experience. I think being chased around yet still living, firing off heals, and being utterly annoying is the main draws of healing in pvp
