I'm not completely against it Alexia, but that has a BIG disadvantage. It wasn't much of an issue in FFXI because it was quite an old game already when they implemented it, but it will be an issue in a younger game.

That way you make inviting newerplayers and players you don't know in a group even less desirable. If every class can be used at every level, people would rather group with their higher level friends (more experience, more reliable), than actually going out of their little circle to look for classes/level combinations that they need to fill the party.

That is true but to be honest it happens already. I don't do leves with randoms because they might not have the same super SP/EXP leves as me and I know many people are the same.

In FFXI if I wanted to party I would just grab the classes I needed to make a good setup and then we would sync to the lowest members level, so for me it didn't stop me partying with randoms, in fact it helped it because it meant I could party at anytime with anyone so I didn't sit around LFG waiting for enough people of the right ranks to come online.

They need to give us a reason to party up with people. Behest is a good start but they need to expand on it, I am sure they have something lined up with the Companies system coming so we will have to wait and see.

The fact that in some cases it already happens isn't a reason to worse the situation, no?

So because of that Level Sync would kill the game and no one would party outside of their LS's???? I am sure that happens already, like I said they need to give us a reason to party.

LS's will always party with LS members when ever possible nothing is going to stop that, after all that is why you are in a LS in the first place. What level sync will allow is people who don't have a LS to group up with a wider selection of people as the levels won't matter and that is what happened with FFXI and it worked great. Or even if you do have a LS but you need an extra 2 people for your party, level sync still allows you a wider selection of players from which to choose members for your party.
