It's less about whether one likes leveling and more about the class/job you're leveling. As I said, some of us identify more with one job than the others. There's no reason why anyone should be punished for it.
Your camp causes more detriment to those who'd rather play a handful or even one class/job than the other way around. As I said in my prior post, you can still switch things up. It just wouldn't be at the expense of others. Its those like you who sneer at players who get more then one job to 50, then place restrictions upon others by dictating to us that for you to join we have to sacrifice versatility.
False. If content is balanced so that numerous set ups can clear it with similar levels of difficulty, he's not going to get excluded. Well, his ability to join the group will just be measured by what spots in the group are open per role rather than what jobs he has leveled. That's a good thing, by the way, and a massive step forward. If you want to be one job and one job only, cool. just means you're going to get looked aside either way, even if your job gets locked.
The OP's suggestion is a step towards fixing speed runs. It's currently an issue of what the players can do to get around the content and how the content itself is balanced to encourage balanced group comps over comps that favor melee or favor range. They need to fix Speed runs, not place restrictions.
