    1) is yoshi P’s pet developer who always develops his main (was BLM now PCT)
    2) is a WAR main who handles all 4 tanks
    3 & 4) are melee mains who design the melees

    RDM runs on legacy code from when it was made in SB, the rest of the casters, phys ranged and the healers are made by unpaid interns on work experience

    As a healer main in this game for nigh on 14 years all I can say is that I’m tired. My role has been eroded of complexity and expression for 3 expansions. I’ve watched the tanks do my role for me for 2 expansions and my feedback and critiques continue to fall on deaf ears.

    I have no idea who modern healers are designed for but I know now it’s not me. This is the first expansion I’m truly considering dropping the healer role and not returning, so if that was the goal- congratulations I guess

    I'd say that is a pretty accurate assessment. I think the question Yoshi P. should be asking these job developers is why aren't they making casters, phys ranged and the healers interesting? If the answer is they don't find those jobs interesting themselves then Yoshi P. should replace those devs and find some people who do. People without passion make bad games.

    I'm not sure I can agree with about phy range and casters not being interesting. Out of all the roles, casters are pretty diverse in skill level and mechanics (how the jobs function) but are stifled by 1 option being so much better than the others. Similarly, the phy. range jobs are diverse with different play styles that are stifled by 2min meta and low damage across the board.
