Well, Bridget was just breaking gender norms back in the day by being a very feminine guy. But I have the feeling, that this isn't supposed to exist anymore in the world of today. I mean, feminine guys? That can't exist, those must actually be trans right? Because being a guy who looks more soft or androgynous is impossible. You either a bulky manly man or trans.

I feel like this is a step back, actually. People used to say that it's sexist to say things like 'boys can't wear make-up' or 'girls don't play with cars'. Which is inherently true, it's sexist.
But in todays world, if someone doesn't fit the gender norm, they have to be trans right? Dangerous mindset...but unfortunately very common.

Also, this just feels like a retcon or a change to the canon to please the fans. But of course it's hard to prove. Like many things that get changed later on a whim by the directors or authors of certain games, books or movies.
