Odd, it's mostly people like yourself that keep bringing it back to her being trans. Most of us simply don't care about that, and can judge individuals by the strength of their character and defensibility of their actions.
I'm sorry but when a Lead VA of a world acclaimed game call the player base of said game for not liking it a let me get the full thing quickly:
racist transphobic misogynistic narcissistic heteronormative bigot I believe there is a problem and then I am not even referring to the hate said VA has been spewing all over the internet
but sure, let them get away with everything from blaming transphobia for them not getting a job as a VA to basically forcing another female VA to quit their job because in Sena's eyes the female VA was not "suited" for the role sure let's forget all this hateful rhetoric.
while the same people that says the above celebrates a singer's career being destroyed because they liked a support against child transition post 3 years ago and follow Jordan Peterson.
so, the double standard is seen and the people bashing this VA is due to their toxic personality overall, when they made it into a race and gender issue instead of accepting a critique that a game is badly written and not on par with what it needs to be half the player base did not even know who Sena Bryer was until said VA started making it into a stink because they are trans and that is their entire identity.

No one deserves this treatment, Protecc Wuk Lamat
I believe she's much better than you think, the story reasons behind her character, is much deeper and important has gone over many heads to acknowledge

I believe she's much worse than you think. The story and the characters contort themselves to make her look more powerful and morally good than anyone else.
Anyway, this thread isn't to talk about Wuk Lamat. There's at least 10 others out there to discuss that.
Howdy o/
She's Seat of Deudelaphon that's why dude. Look up this character and it'll all make sense
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Wuk Lamat. The story is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of peace and happiness most of the plot will go over a typical player's head. There's also Wuks's optimistic outlook, which is deftly woven into her characterisation- her personal philosophy draws heavily from children's literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of this plot, to realise that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Wuk Lamat truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the love in Wuk's existential catchphrase "Sphene! Listen to me!" which itself is a cryptic reference to Steve Metzger's "Yes I can Listen". I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Kathryn Cwynar's genius wit unfolds itself on their computer screens. What fools.. how I pity them.
