You don't have to accept it, and you can ignore the game all you want in hopes of change all of that is within your right. What is messed up is ignoring the fact currently right now they are trans. That is what the developers wishes and they made that change. Until they change it back they are trans.

As per the interview they just felt it was not the right time, you can think they line that they were always meant to be trans was a lie, but does not change the fact they are trans now as per the developers. We have no way to really say if they are lying, we can speculate, question, and press x for doubt. That is all we can do, we cannot confirm if he lied about Bridget was always intended to be Trans but wanted to wait for the right moment to come off as some progressive developer. That is like the legit important part of this, what matters now is Bridget is trans. People can hate it, boycott the game or whatever does not change the fact they are trans currently. Who gives a shit either way Bridget is still S tier in terms of kit and gameplay. Their gender is the least important aspect of their character in a fighting a game.

All I am saying is I do not get why people are trying to deny some level of respenstation. I do not personally care about respenstation, but clearly some people do. In this case it is such a non issue cause said change does not alter their gameplay on any level. Who cares if they lied about this shit, the game is still great.
