I know she would have liked a Trans-Woman playing a Trans Character, i found the tweet. :O
(please dont start debate if she is trans, the long time producer did already directly said she is)

For clarity i used did a quick google search to find the tweet. So Sena might posted a worse thing later hence my ask.

As mentioned in her character profile, Bridget was born as the younger twin son and then raised as a girl by her parents to protect her from a village superstition.
Despite their intentions to protect Bridget, it pained her parents to do so as they felt they were forcing her to live a certain way.

Wouldn't be the first creator that has made stupid decisions with their characters. Let's butcher a character's personality, and retcon everything that came before it, because "reasons". Yeah, no. Their opinion can be discarded, just like every other dog water sequel that trashes established lore.

can't see word "trans" anywhere. why didn't he call bidget trans, if the point was to elucidate her feelings about herself?

i suspect: maybe japanese cultural pov (which the creator might have more likely than any other - correct if im wrong <3) handles what other places call "trans" differently. we have all seen it:
busybodies in university x learn of hijra/2spirit/oshtisch/sipiniq/koekchuch/mahu/etc and think "heureka, all of that = trans!", because they see them as analogs. as if the cultural layer was so insignificant. of course it isn't.

not saying i am some kind of expert, no no no. but i was under understanding that japan, as culture, after you peel off modern/foreign stuff trying to sway it --
(not bad thing, cultures change, but it's usually truly lasting change when it's as close to organic as possible, when majority adopts the change)
-- is of that sort which for cultural cohesion would like to see their homosexuals conform. preferably by not normalizing same-sex couples, but encouraging same sex couple to look like hetero couple. so, one of them better do the social transition at least.

Sure people lie but we have no real way to know if they are lying or not. They are the developers and creators of the game world so they get final as to what is what about their characters and game.

Say Bridget was not always meant to be trans, fine they lied about that. Does not change they are trans now according to the developers.
