    Just a basic observation. I actually got a competent and geared Tank yesterday in Expert Roulette, and rather than struggling to use every heal and then Cure2 spam to keep them up like I had to do the rest of the week - it was back to popping a regen and ignoring them.

    Funny how a good tank makes my feelings about healing like night and day. Went from "Well, this content still seems like it needs a lot of healing" to zzzzzzzzzzzz. Happened faster than expected as we are still mostly at 700 gear.

    It's a huge break in trend. So it shows breaking trend is not unprecendented. And most of the requests from healers don't require big changes to the game.
    - Either rework existing damage buttons to be used more often, or add 1 or 2 new damage buttons that get used more often. Doesn't require huge changes.
    - Give (in particular new) bosses a few more unavoidable AoE attacks. Doesn't require huge changes.
    - Lower heals of mostly WAR (but also PLD) so it doens't rival (or eclipse in certain content) heals from healers. Doesn't require huge changes.

    We are not asking for BLM/MNK complexity, no matter how many people who are 'against the strike' try to claim that's what we want. Those who are disillusioned with the state of healing, the portion of them that want 'more variety in what damage actions we press (note, this doesn't mean dealing more DPS, just HOW we deal the current amount of DPS) mostly are in agreement that Stormblood was a good 'middle-ground' between complexity and accessibility. So, going back to a damage:healing button count split more reminiscent of that time is what is asked for.

    I'm one of the people who wants more damage actions added. I've written out entire design sheets on what I'd do to each healer (found here if anyone is interested). Take the WHM design I made as an example. I removed two buttons that are 'pointless' (Cure/Medica, by having them upgrade to their '2' version) and then added four buttons, of which, only one was a damage action. The other 3 buttons are a big AOE healing action, an ST Barrier Lily spell and an AOE Barrier Lily spell. I'm just as keen as anyone else to have the healers be 'healers' first and foremost, and I'll happily add actions that are healing related if I think the kit needs them

    When I say 'I want more variety in the damage actions I use as WHM', I mean changes like:
    - Dia reduced to 12s, potency changed to rebalance (I'd have it as 150+70 per tick)
    - New button, Water (later upgrading to Banish) added, with a 15s CD and dealing 40p more than the currently learned level of Stone/Glare. Also, it's instant-cast

    Yes, only two changes. And with just those two changes, it'd take our Glares per 2 minutes from 33, down to 19. That is over a 35% decrease in 'Glare casts per minute'. Also, because Banish would be instant cast in this design, it, plus the extra casts of Dia, Misery, the 3 Lilies per minute, and now Glare 4, all total up to result in a WHM that has over 50% of its damage actions be instant-casts for unparalleled movement, ironically turning what some claim is 'too much complexity for new players' into the ultimate safety net for those very new players.

    Does what I just listed sound like BLM/MNK complexity? No, because it's not, the idea that we're after the complexity of some of the most technical DPS jobs in the game is nothing more than disinformation from Big Glare Inc. who want us to only press Glare. Don't worry, we'll still be Healers even if SE gave us a more-frequently-used DOT, or one or two extra damage actions per Healer

    Aion had an excellent system although oddly enough no one understood what chanters were good for and they suffered miserably as a result for at least a good 18 months (if not a bit more) until their QOL improved dramatically over time.

    Now when it came to clerics, it really could support those people who honestly believe in both 'healers should heal" by having some really challenging healing as well as those who want to get truly feel challenged by playing in DPS spec, and seeing that they can get to be one of the best DPS and at the same time pull off clutch saves by supporting whomever was in heal spec.

    If I didn't know you were striking I never would have guessed. It has not effected me in a single way since the release of DT and there are thousands of healers online 247 playing the game. This is not a good way to get what you want and you are only effecting yourself and your enjoyment but go off.

    Please tell me how swapping to a different role and having more fun with the game is only negatively affecting myself?

    Could you also explain why my DF queues and PF reclear parties for the current EX's are always waiting on healers to fill last?
