Ignoring your hyperbole about missing a single heal, yes, if a healer doesn't heal between raidwides, people should die, otherwise the content has no threat and the healer is unnecessary.

At which point you also make the few heal checks that do exist like Harrowing Hell require reworking. All you've done is replace Glare Glare Glare with Medica Medica Medica. The problem of healers being boring still exists and your "simple solution" doesn't help.
