    The thing is you can't have a weapon not equipped with the way the game coded, so unfortunately it is kind of a hard requirement for them to have you unequip it for the upgrade. Maybe they could sell from the start some cheap standins by the Relic NPCs for that purpose... Set the buying and sell price for the level 1 Weathered weapons to 1 gil, add in ones for all the classes that came after ARR and have a NPC selling them near the relics.

    Then just change the coding to make it possible to have no weapon but retain the crystal. Retainers can do it so its already in the game

    Misunderstanding. If the tier wanted min ilevel of 710 then the latest expert dungeon would drop 705 (first savage is allways 5 lower). It wouldn't nerf crafted gear because that gear is needed for 2 3 4 in the savage tier. And in general is still better with penta. This would just be a viable alternative. If ppl bought it instead of crafted gear then that would be for financial reasons and not because it was better. Its no secret latley crafted gear hasn't been doing well on mb. Prices plummeting on raid week due to over supply in week 1. Perhaps the book arriving with the savage would mitigate this.
    When the second dungeon of the tier releases it should be on level with say 715. The. Its 5 levels above the min for 4 savage but still not better than raid tome gear or alliance gear. It shouldn't be weekly capped and just be for the dungeon

    Changing it is probably easier said than done as it's likely part of the about 15 year old spaghetti code.

    BLU allowed in Eureka / Bozja / POTD / HOH / Orthos. It's literally perfect for that type of content. I don't give a single solitary sh!t about people's past necromancer title that they got 7 years ago at this point. You've had your prestige, let it go.

    A much better currency tab that hold ALL currency not just very specific ones. If an item's ONLY purpose is to purchase something else, and can't be put on the market board, it should go in a currency tab because that's what it is.

    A functional glamour LOG. Not this bandaid fix we have right now with the armoire. I know, system limitations and all but there are ways around it (Only allow glamour at an inn so your character doesn't have to have this data with them at all times in the open world)

    Every weapon after lvl 35 requires an advanced job stone. All of them. No more of this base job sh!t to troll other people.

    Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
    Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
    Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]

    unfortunately, they are unlikely to micromanage the gear that way, since every patch if they release a new raid tier, they would need to redo all the dungeon gear. the over supply issue is due to them simplifying the crafting to the point that a blind person and their dog, or the hordes of bots, can easily get up to speed and churn out the gear.

    my only issue with the "current" dungeons is the materia rewards are not top tier so virtually useless. I craft for my friends and I, so the current gear I only keep for off jobs or glam if its nice. if you arent doing savage, then there is little need for the gear to be higher than it is now, and a majority do not seem to do the savages and extremes. I have a couple friends that do, and so I craft the gear for them, but thats generally only to get them into newly released raids, and after that they use gear from the raids.

    IMO that ship has sailed, too much gil is around and too much is horded, plus rmt still is around... yes it sucks how nothing has value - like when crafting i spent more buying the mats then just the thing i wanna make...

    Dungeons - please make dungeons interactive instead of the same continous hallways and bosses. options levers, secret pathways and optional treasure would be a nice start, perhaps having more than 1 route taken could be used to influence the boss mecanics.
    Id love that, but paths need to be randomly decided by the game so players cant mob others into doing it their way.

    Shared fate rewards need to be better in DT - in endwalker they were meh lets be real. either usless or sompletly slave away on the content for 50k gems. bring back how it was in shb
    Those huge crystal sinks need to go anyways, not even when id level all my jobs with fates only id get enough lol

    Overall the "do 10.000 xyz" archivments need to stop, yet also i want more of em.

    Like 1000 S hunts makes me just stop even trying, its not something i cant control too well unless i literally dedicate my whole time into it. Yet id love to get new ones for "kill 10.000.000 enemies" etc...

    And more for having all songs or 300 minions/200 mounts... all those things, i kinda miss em.

    Linkshells and cwl - need to be increased in size dramatically. rn they only hold about 1.10th of the legeitimate amount of people interested in joining them. increase this and help keep the game social without the restrictions of FCs or discords.
    I fear thats too late too, too many settled into discord etc... they should have waited with cwl's until they figure out at lest 1-200 members...

    IS/Lifestyle content - i wanna try to keep this short but please dont impliment solo lifestyle content again like this. it only felt more isolating. instead introduce something that requires large scale player interaction
    Id object. We need and i want both - stuff for casually doing while alone or with friends, not depending on each other.

    Not as grindy as the island, but still, it wasnt too bad. just so... passive?

    Yet i love eureka and bozja, but, you either did it right away or you were screwed. Back then on pagos i had to leave so many fc mates behind as they could not join me due our levels being too different, or them needing the exp from roulets while i was done just by doing eureka... jet you must not make the large scale content to level - whenever theres cheap exp, the content suffers imo...

    housing system it needs to be more restrictive on the account holder. having multiple characters in 1 datacenter with a house is exploiting the limited rescources. i know people wont like this.. but i dont think its fair you should 5 houses on a dc
    YES. And revistit the rules for FCs... like the house infront of me, the player has an shell fc, 4-5 ppl, no one ever around (its next to the mb so id see em) and no decoration + its locked. Others would die for the plot and redecorate it 5x a year, like my neighbors did before they moved to an L.

    Grandfathering houses back then instead of making an hard cut was a huge mistake. But also all my chars should be allowed to use my private home.

    Criterion remove savage. its not being done. just make it normal and ex and put a weapon/gear in it
    So much... and if you need to keep it, give the gear an auto sync so its only a skill matter, not, if im doing savage or not.

    PVP - fix crowd controll/stuns so they cant be mass applied. please make trophy crystals have actual use and value too, maybe you use them to buy the series rewards instead of on the side
    Yeah give us the old pvp mounts - half the players might have cheated and most likely half of those who earned em legit are still playing. In the years ive played i did many many hunts, eureka etc... i think i can count the pvp mounts ive seen on two hands lol.
    (i think ive mostly only seen that chair from Ala Mhigo)


    Id also add:

    STOP GIVING US RANDOM MATERIA REWARDS. Its clutter, half of it ill never use. You made those token to exchange it - USE EM. Give us those, give us fewer if you have to.
    Or if you insist on keeping it that way - let us fuse em ourselfs without visiting that Goblin...


    And for the love of god Increase the Poetics and fate tokken caps.

    Some of them are, some, many, are entirely new gameplay systems and content for the sake of gameplay content itself. QoL, historically, is not about new gameplay it's about making existing gameplay easier / less obnoxious to deal with, particularly so you CAN focus on the gameplay. Usually small things that once added would be unknown to the player who didn't know the history. Adding entirely new gameplay content is not that, at all.

    I'm still all for you making suggestions, and if you want to use the word wrong willfully then fine, but you have definitely used it wrong...

    I mean. Since they can't possibly dumb the combat down any further, and since people do want engaging combat it would be fr the benefit of everybody if it was made better. I personally see this as a qol improvement. However if you don't agree that's tamaguchi and ur free to do so. We are not going to agree on this 1. The majority of changes I wanna see or support from others are qol we need like the ones I mentioned in my first reply to you

    Alternatively, change how weapon hand-ins for upgrades work and have it not actually remove the previous item. Just make the quest change the weapon into the upgraded version directly in your inventory.
