That content would be so fun on BLU plus let them use all lost/logogram actions so they break the content in half.
BLU allowed in Eureka / Bozja / POTD / HOH / Orthos. It's literally perfect for that type of content. I don't give a single solitary sh!t about people's past necromancer title that they got 7 years ago at this point. You've had your prestige, let it go.
A functional glamour LOG. Not this bandaid fix we have right now with the armoire. I know, system limitations and all but there are ways around it (Only allow glamour at an inn so your character doesn't have to have this data with them at all times in the open world)
Every weapon after lvl 35 requires an advanced job stone. All of them. No more of this base job sh!t to troll other people.
I could even deal with them tying the full set to an archivment and let us get it again after having the full set once, id love to collect em. Just anything - yes i wont need all the gear but collecting it is fun to me and many others.
And yes, the title was on sale long enough as well and as far as i heard there are enough hacks/addons so whatever (same as its about time to give us savepoints - we have different scaling, stats. attacks and even jobs now) and BLUE needs more then that Puzzle stuff... heck have Martyn Request Krile to research the aether and special mobs on Eureka and get your own Blue story there - youd use 95% premade assets and could make countless hours of fun. (and add some more lore)
And for all deep dungeons, nothing stops em to just call it "Blue Nerco" of whatever....
YES that so much, but also not just that, also all Quests. And while at it, change how min ilvl works so the lowest piece still needs to be within 20-30 ilvl of the min requirement. Im sick of ppl buying an ring and calling it a day...
Or... just hear me out. Disable Necromancer/Lone Hero/Once and Future - Titles for BLU runs.BLU allowed in Eureka / Bozja / POTD / HOH / Orthos. It's literally perfect for that type of content. A much better currency tab that hold ALL currency not just very specific ones. If an item's ONLY purpose is to purchase something else, and can't be put on the market board, it should go in a currency tab because that's what it is.

They do need to remove the restrictions on BLU though. It's literally the perfect catchup class for older content that's not as active or for content where finding a long term party is an issue.

DD / Exploratory BLU would be cool. For Necromancer just add Azul or Blue to the front of the title, keep the achievement concept change the name. Though I think they should fix the achievement from disconnects somehow.. it would make it easier but perhaps it checkpoints at 50 floor intervals.

Mao would likes SE to have dye and glam system more likes GW2. In GW2 gears stored in database attached to character. Is no need to store gears in bags. Upon acquiring new gear database automatically marks new look as accessible. Dyes likes this too. Upon first time acquiring a dye, dye is marked in dye database attached to character as obtained and always accessible. Is no need to store dyes in bags. Gears has up to FOUR dye channels and is almost 1000 different dyes in game. SE has LONG way to go to come even CLOSE to matching versatility of GW2 Glam and dye system.

I hate to be this person but nothing will change.
hope is the first step on the road to disappointment

That's not necessarily true. However, the OP already makes this thread a tough sell because "Essential QoL Changes" is an oxymoron. Many responses within this thread are very impactful changes that do not qualify as a QoL update, and in that sense you are 100% correct. They absolutely are not going to do things like expand BLU, change the FATE system, make housing instanced, make the glamour dresser unlimited, etc. Even if they did do anything on this scale, it wouldn't be a QoL change, it would be a very significant change to the game itself. These kind of changes eat up resources like crazy, and take a very long time to implement.
QoL updates are never essential and their impact on the game overall is very minimal. Many QoL changes are unexpected, and no one was really asking for them. They kind of just weave them into the patch notes and players tend to have a lukewarm but positive reaction to them because they are almost always helpful. You can pull up any previous patch notes in the lodestone to find them. For example, in patch 5.3 they made it so you can abandon leve quests while on a mount, they added a timer so the player can see how much time is left on their invulnerability status when revived, and updated descriptions on some of the game's actions to make them more clear as to what they do.
I often get a kick out of these threads because players tend to come in to vent about major changes they would like to see, calling them "QoL."
I'll even add to the fray: I would like glamour plates to be updated so they include hairstyles!

I have many wants for improvements, but considering QoL are usually less impactful things, I'd say...
On Glamours: Checkboxes to let you use just specific equipment slots of a glamour plate - for example, I'm out there and I just want to change to a head piece from the glamour plate 3. Today to do this, I need to un-equip all of my gear but the slot I want - glamour it and then re-equip everything. Doable, but not handy at all.
On Battle Gauges: Let you have the toggle option to track more things there, especially debuffs like dots on your main target, or timed buffs. The usual way of tracking those is really bad for me. Even separating the buffs into different categories, it still gets mixed up with some stuff that doesn't need immediate tracking and also hard to see in practical (not huge) sizes.
On vendors: Honestly, just do a big usability quality pass. There are so many QoL features that, even despite the few ones we got, still need much improvement. A tip, would be to organize more things in tabs, instead of different menus (e.g. the rain/agumentation vendor).
On Waymarks: Let us change (on our end) the waymarks to a cleaner version. Most of the time I personally just need to see the floating number or the waymark's box, not the flashy glowing effects.
On the Party Frame: Let us opt out of unecessary clutter information, like the header - I think I know that a Full Party is 8 people lol - or the numbers before people's names. Possibly a more compact way. I do much better with a minimalistic interface, and having that as an option would please everyone.
On chat interface: Chat bubbles. No, not just a QoL for roleplaying, but it's extremely handy to catch rez announcements or some sort of call in the middle of combat without having to look away to the chat box. Just make it a toggle so people bothered by them can choose.

1) Any and all debuffs currently on the mob
2) My Dots
on a monster. I don't care a single bit about anyone else's damage on the monster but those 2 things are VITAL pieces of information that can easily be lost / missed in the mass amount of icons on a boss hp bar.

Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]
