Need advice: static imploding because of cheater.

I can't believe there's actually people here defending cheating.

I'd have taken it up with them first, possibly, their reaction would have been the motivator for the kick(being an entitled douche, for example), but I see nothing wrong with removing them. Your static, your rules. And if people leave because they condone cheating, then so be it.

I'm guessing everyone here defending that guy heavily mods their game like its Skyrim.

Hey, if someone is drinking piss, but they think it is lemonade and do not believe me when I am telling them they are drinking piss, to them are they really drinking piss or is it lemonade?

In short if someone does not think they are cheating no amount of stressing they are cheating will change their mind. So why get upset trying to convince a person of something they do not see either due to willful ignorance or simply plain old ignorance.

Also that is another misnomer about statics, sure you have a team captain / leader but it is not their static. They are a team, it is not proper for them to make an executive call like that without the input of the team before hand. The OP failed as a captain / leader when they felt they had the power to make such a call without the teams input and probably was for the better if the group fell apart, cause running with a leader like that often leads to needless drama.

Edit: As mentioned before it not uncommon for statics to push through with a player that does not mess well with the time if they have already have made a decent amount of progress with them. Often changes mid prog lead to groups falling apart, which ends up just wasting the the time of everyone.
