Kicker who are you at the end of the day? They are doing their own thing, you do yours. You may feel they do not deserve it but end of the day the only one that matters if the one that got the clear.

By cheating. Not on their own merits. Not by their own skill.

If they feel their clear is deserved then it is to them.

Im sure they are happy with their "clear", pity it wasnt on their own merits.

I feel like a lot of people are too busy parading around on their high horse pointing at the cheater to notice the 6 other people that the OP massively inconvenienced.

Thing is the only ones that care about the merits are the ones that opinion does not even matter to them on any level for the most part most likely. So why get so bent out of shape over a one sided beef?

It's pretty clear from their overall attitude that they aren't even a raider in the first place. Makes it extra funny.

Whats funny is you excusing people who cheat to win. Ill ask again, why is it you CANT clear this content without addons? Seriously...why? If you are a "raider" and a "better player" then........why do you need addons?

The OP could've given the cheater an ultimatum "Stop using it or I kick you" then given them one last chance, or they could silently search for a replacement and kick the cheater once a new member was found. There's a lot of other options that wouldn't inconvenience the other 6 people as much as what they did.

Let's not pretend the inconvenience is not entirely on OP's leadership. The action of kicking immediately with no backup plan is one that OP is entirely responsible for.

NTA. I think OP had every right to kick, block, and report the cheater. The cheater streamed himself cheating and potentially put everyone else in jeopardy. Remember in the world "first" clear, that one guy posted the video of the zoom hack and got his whole static in trouble. They had all their rewards taken away.

Its that no, I dont do savage or ex or ulitmate, I do a lot of other things that are just as interesting. But..the difference between us is this: I dont set myself up as a "better player that beats harder content", Im not the one calling others "bads" or calling for normal content to be harder "because the playerbase doesnt want to get better at the game"....whatever I have accomplished ingame, whatever I have earned, I have achieved ON MY OWN MERITS.

Even if do go for savage or ex, even if I do fail, I will have done so on my own, on my own ability, if I lose so be it. Doesnt worry me. Why? Because in the end, it is down to me..unaided aside from the ingame tools already provided.

IF I was ever asked to get these addons, Id refuse and probably get kicked. Again, Id rather try and fail than win by cheating.

Make of that whatever you will. i dont know and cant say if you personally use them or not..thats up to you to decide. Your call either way.

If raiders are as good as they say they are, if they are more skilled than other players as they keep claiming they are....then they should be able to clear this harder content WITHOUT addons.

It is pretty simple, both sides are petty. If people want to use their plugins go for it, it is not for me I will kindly just pass on said groups. I am also not going to go around and police the action of others I do not have the head space for that. Let people do as they please, even if someone says my clear is moot because we later found out someone was using plugins or w/e I would simply shrug it off and call it a day. In my eyes my run was legit even if SE took my reward away, I cleared it once I can do it again, even still even if people say I did not do it, or SE took my rewards away they can never take away the fact I did indeed clear the fight.

People harp too much on cheating and all this stuff in my opinion. This legit reminds me of what drew me out competitive pokemon, a handful of people going after those that gen mons and it just got salty and not a fun environment to be around. I did not even gen mon's, I just wanted to compete and do my very best. I do not care what my opponent does or what they did leading up to the match. I just worried about myself and my play.

That being said if someone does willfully break the ToS do not be epehands: when action gets taken against your account, or people do not align with what your doing. Same case for the OP do not be shocked your group was not to keen on losing out on how many hours of prog because of your own personal beliefs.
