This is a fallacious argument and you know it. What you are describing is a closer allegory to learning how to draw with a No. 2 pencil before having access to a Cintiq tablet, whereas in both scenarios you still have the full creative freedom that a real world scenario would entail. A gross oversimplification of the glamour situation likened to your example would be more like "You can paint, but your only tool is forever limited to testor cerulean blue. You can never use other paints or colors because reasons."

Homie was not meant to be an argument. I was simply stating I like working with restrictions and if I had to vote I would always vote for more restrictions.

That being said I have done fun projects where I limit myself to certain colors or one medium. I made a cool shirt design with bleach dye on a black shirt. Thank you for the idea though I will try to do something with a mono color.

I while I am in favor of restrictions and if they removed them I would still impose my own. So not like I will lose sleep over them being lifted. I would still vote no though.
