People that believe you need to be current highest iLevel are actually a running joke in the raid community, remember the video MrHappy released about Trap Parties? That\\'s them.

You don\\'t need to be Pentamelded but it helps if you\\'re trying to squeeze every extra drop out of your job you possibly can.

You don\\'t need to be near or at max iLevel to clear it, but near Min is also a warning sign that the person didn\\'t even bother to get themselves some crafted gear or Normal Raid drops which there\\'s no excuse for.

Most of the anti checks/parser/ DBM people are console players and are mainly whining because their potato wont support mods. lets be honest here. if they were on a PC and their mods did nothing to cheese mechanics ,they would be all over them.

This is kind of bullshit and what you show is the exact "mentality" these third party programs bring to the game, for instance the 10% ranking doesn't mean "u did so bad to the fight" no, it just means that over "all the people that use ACT and loggers in game , you are in the low 10% of the best tanks LOGGED that cleared it" It is a very biased and skewed / idiotic reference to bring about, it does not mean "lol u so bad" either when you compare your peenus only with the top 8% of players that think they are the best for clearing it, it also still means that you are in the lower rank 10% of "best players logged" that down the fight but are just "logging" their fights, you know plenty of people are downing these fights without using these logs and all these tools right ? No i guess when you are used to these you can't fathom this.

A PS4 or 5 isnt a "potato", and that, btw is one of the reasons that parsers arent allowed. Console players, who make a VERY LARGE percentage of the playerbase cant use them.

I remind you that FF 14 was a console game first, THEN on PC. Even a lot of the FF games now on PC ( remakes ) are a PORT to PC, not from PC TO console.

I am against parsers for one specific reason, I have had ample experience on how they can be misused and abused as an excuse for publically humliating players.

I stopped caring all together. And to be fair I'll admit this topic in of itself makes me salty and I have been jumping to conclusions and barking at people over some valid points on the importance to improve dps. So yes both sides made some good points but the bottom line is, official parsing is never going to happen. Yoshi-P and the devs already made their stand on it and no amount of crying is going to deter them to implement meters in the game. I want to improve as much as the next person, thats why there are numerous rotation guides online for many people whom want to self improve their game and thats honestly been enough after all these years this game has been running without official addon support.
