    I think they can make it so if one person has already cleared then it is a 25% chance to lose a chest. That way it's like you're rolling 7 people's worth of loot between 7 people, which is fair. And I think that kind of RNG is fine since there is already RNG in which chest is lost in a one-chest anyways.

    If you could sub in people to guarantee 2 chest without rolling on it I think that would lead to some pretty awkward situations where people try to get 7 people who cleared to guarantee their loot.

    The current system, at least you can work around by using an alt, and if you want to feed loot such as with double clears, it is limited by needing alts instead of unlimited feeding with 7 people

    Honestly don't have a good answer for how the loot issue should be solved - I just know that it should.

    You should not be effectively shunned from PUGs because you cleared a fight already. People should be able to raid to their hearts content. I want to raid, then raid more, with friends, statics, and pugs - because I want to get good at the fight, or I like a particular encounter, or w/e reason I have. The current system inhibits that, for what?

    My static is pretty casual. I play with them because I like them - and raiding with them, while not always progressing, is a lot of fun. We laugh and joke around. People waste time with meme pulls. I like that part of the game. I also play a lot more than most of them, and have a pretty strong desire to be as good at the game as I can be. I want to also play when they aren't around, and play more seriously.

    The current system wants you to sacrifice one of these things for the other. That's not a net good. None of the arguments thus far have been even close to a good enough reason to inhibit free raiding.

    1 chance at rolling for 1 piece of loot and 1 token per week is plenty restrictive.
    If your static wants to swap out 6 alts over several fights so that everyone guantees that when they roll they get something - they deserve it. They put in the work to get their alts to a level where they can do that.

    If you successfully put a PUG together with 7 people who have already cleared the fight so that you are guaranteed loot - you earned it.

    Me clearing in a PUG and thus hamstringing my static is a bad system.
    Me clearing with my static and thus hamstringing my ability to participate in PUGs is a bad system.

    I don't care in the slightlest who gets what loot and when - I just want to be able to play the content (with no additional rewards for myself) without artifical barriers.
