I agree with you on not calling everything a fetish, but they are correct that the women are not dominant over men in Viera society. They are just very separate with different roles that keep them apart most of the time.

Moon Keeper Miqo'te have a similar societal structure, at least traditionally, and that has nothing to do with dominant women – the men are simply not there to be dominated – and it doesn't require the women to be taller either.

With might i add, absolutely no merit or evidence to support that. In fact like i said, they have equal functions in society. If they’re taller, it isn’t the end of the world. It isn’t against the lore. As of right now, there is very little suggesting that they’ll be shorter. yeah but as i said before, male viera in my opinion just look like a typical final fantasy (anime) protagonist. their body reminds me of cloud‘s. he looks slim, but he still is a killer machine. just like lots and lots of other anime protagonists. just as larryzaur said in his reaction „THEY LOOK SO ANIME“, and i fully agree with that statement. XD
the males just look young (18-22) in my book, which lorewise makes sense. they look lithe, athletic - a body type that would be fitting for a streaky forest. they always stay hidden after all. maybe they‘ll give an option for an older looking face and some beard options too, which would be neat.

Yeah i agree it's very anime xDD It's just that the body look a little bit too smooth, that's what breaks it. Even if it's not huge, the muscles showing is sign of rigourous training. Right now it's barely visible.
The way male viera was presented made them look too delicate for players who wanted a classic man (Cloud look young but not delicate). The delicate music, hair choices, outfit showing belly button, UwU emote, sexy dance ... everything was there to seduce players who wanted femboys or pretty boys x)

That was pretty much what a lot of people said about AuRa males as well. They simply being Elezen with a skin condition and horns.

Better body than elezen, face are somehow worse. xD can't have everything but some ppl like them the way they are. It's not 100% identical, if i were to choose between curent aura and the artwork, i choose the artwork that's all.

I'm not a fan of shorter that's all i'm saying lol ofc it's fine if end up disliking it completly, i'll just stay on miqo or change to hyur. And no one asked for an old man version, just an adult. Btw there's a old woman face for elezen and hyur, no one uses it so it's not surprising to not see any old woman faces. Who said it shouldn't be an option ?

I'm showing my preferences, it's not there to please everyone. You either like it too or you don't. For the height being smaller than females i already explained why it's not something i am exited about (same size as the race i already play and looks already very similar). It's fine if they do that, but imo it will look very repetitive. I'd rather have 1 tall bishonen and 1 small, than just 2 small. Is it a problem?

“Lore is weird.” So is all of the lore in this game. Pretty is subjective. I know people find female au ra’s pretty. I think they look like melted barbie dolls. Tastes are purely subjective.
