Lack of updates on Viera and Hrothgar.

Viera & Hrothgar have been out now for over a year. Things have just been shut down the last few months with COVID. Just sayin'.

Now what always gets me is that Au Ra were released as a complete race. They had access to all hairstyles & hats right from the beginning. Why on earth did they not plan for Viera & Hrothgar to receive the same treatment? I understand that there was a bit of a time crunch with the release of ShB, but that should have been a priority to get Viera and Hroth brought up to speed after release.

I know people have mentioned that they both use unique meshes (no idea if this is accurate), but even if that were to be the case,even that isn't a great excuse in my mind. The devs should have allotted whatever time was needed in order to make them complete. And if this is something where the upper management at SE didn't allow the time or funding, then shame on the company for allowing them to stay half-arsed.

I mean, sure, I guess they did warn us early on that they would have limitations, but even still, that's pretty lame. I've never seen new races handled like that in other games. It boggles the mind. This is SE's cash cow, but at times it definitely does not feel like it. Between all the clunky inventory & glamour systems, housing woes, incomplete races, less new content being released with patches, it's starting to get old. ;X

It's been quite awhile since I really played SWTOR, but they released Togruta who have very limited customization and no access to headgear. Though, they did also have Twi'lek previously were in a similar circumstance. Though, those SWTOR races are kind of to the extreme, they don't even have hair.

They do consider these races complete though. These races are "limited", rather than incomplete. Pretty sure there is an actual quote somewhere too, that they consider viera/hrothgar finished.

Ridiculous. First off, that dude posts on an alt, and even if that wasn't the case, are non-viera/hrothgar players not supposed to have an opinion? What about players who were viera/hrothgar previously and just fantasiad off of it?

Are you really expecting that they would have time and energy to care about this minor issue after entire COVID-19 dilemma? I would say that we will be lucky if we can get entire 6.3 patch on time atm. Lack of hair styles will not damaging your game experiences just be patient. It is not going to be something they will pay attention to in 2020

I haven't read the rest of this thread, but I'm sure someone is going to say "well, Covid".. like uhh.. we didn't have anything new for viera/hrothgar for like 7 months before Covid really hit. We still have literally nothing, and it's crazy! I made a joke the other day how we probably won't see any updates for them until the next expansion, but more and more I believe it.
