considering there is Hrothgar in the Relic quest area with manes those faces cant even have clearly means there is a update on the horizon.

Hrothgar really butchered everything. If it wasn't for that fatal decision to lock Hrothgar's hair to face we would already have gotten new hairstyles for both races. Let's hope they're finally unlocking the hair from face so that going forth both male Hrothgar and female Viera can get new hairstyles regularly.

In the end this is a problem of their own making, Yoshida wanted an animal race so badly that he shoehorned it in before even considering Viera.
