Honestly, I'd low key hate this lol.
Conceptually it'd be cool.
But I started as SMN and when I went to try SCH I had a million skills unlocked and had a MUCH harder time making sense of them than if I had played the class up from level 1.

Hmm I get where you’re coming from there, but it did eventually sort out right? The first thing I usually do with every job when they add a bunch of new skills is add them to my hot bar immediately even when I don’t have them so I get a feel for where and what it’s going to be when it does unlock. At level 30 it’s like 10 actions each job. It’s really that complicated?

I don't know if we can ever expect to get another though. SCH came out during a unique time when it was able to be added and start at level 1.
If you were to introduce a new job tied to DRK you'd have to start it at level 30, and they've expressed they're not interested in adding new classes at levels that low.
Huh no- unless you’re meaning to reply to someone else that’s definitely not what we’re talking about here.I don't know if we can ever expect to get another though. SCH came out during a unique time when it was able to be added and start at level 1.

It’s just attaching DRK to Gladiator so that you level DRK and PLD simultaneously. No shared abilities. Leaving jobs just how they are. You just get the benefit of having both jobs leveled as you progress. You can swap between them at your leisure.
And to respond to some other people, the reason a Scholar often gets to max level without touching Summoner is because they are trying to trigger duty finder faster. Better to queue as a healer than DPS if you’re impatient.
This concept also helps queue times.
