I actually love that design philosophy, it just makes sense to me for everyone on the battlefield to contribute to damage.I'm just going to quote myself from a conversation I had with some friends, it sums up my issue with healers.
"if you described 14's healers to someone who knew nothing about 14 "Basically you deal as much damage as you can but when needed you heal but only when you really have to, you want to heal as little as possible and deal as much damage as you can" They'd likely think you're some kind of attacking support, not a primary healer."
I play a healer to heal, but in 14 I'm praised for focusing as little on that as possible.
I just hate that it feels like I'm punished for doing well because I'm left with nothing interesting to do.
.
Make SCH great again! Seriously though, we just want our class to be fun and engaging again, not OP, is that too much to ask for?

My problem isn't with contributing, it's that I'd rather heal and do the role I signed up for. I want 14 to have me heal, I shouldn't be able to spend most of my time DPS'ing no matter how good I am. I shouldn't be praying for things to go wrong in order for me to be a healer.

Maybe I'd feel worse about it if the healing was actually interesting. Outside of say, earthly star and horoscope, there are no heals that do anything more than "press a button then watch HP bars go up."My problem isn't with contributing, it's that I'd rather heal and do the role I signed up for.
