Well, yes. I wouldn't say being staggered was the biggest problem with most of the content you mentioned though, but that's a whole other topic.I imagine you share this opinion with Heaven on High, Eureka, Blue Mage and the plethora of other content that was already readily available but intentionally staggered because, and I quote, "We felt there was too much content and didn't want people to feel overwhelmed."
Again, that's a "you" problem, not SE's problem. And those players still get to experience all that content whereas players aiming for week 1 Savage don't.
Releasing Savage on time also doesn't prevent you from enjoying the remaining content either (again, that's a "you" problem), so I'm not sure what point you're trying to make here.A week delay of Savage does not prevent you from enjoying the remaining content.
I know there's people who prefer content to come out "now" rather than "later", again assuming it is actually ready for release and not something rushed or half-baked (as in, I know several of these people personally; it's also a pretty common sentiment even outside of this game), so yes, I do know that better than you seem to.You also do not speak for the hardcore raid community. Therefore, it's disingenuous to claim delaying Savage would be a punishment. You can't know that any more than I can. Hence why I offered a suggestion I think would be beneficial. Given the reception, I think it's clear many share that opinion.
The thing here is that the way this raid came out doesn't jive with you or your group's approach to new raids, but instead of you solving your own problem and either adjusting your approach or finding a more compatible raid group that would let you take the time to progress through story/normal/whatever at the pace you would like, you're instead proposing that everyone else should have to wait an extra week along with you (even if, unlike you, they are perfectly ready and willing to tackle the new raid now) just so that you get to go at the pace you would like, while still also getting to go after that week 1 clear, or world first clear, or whatever it is that makes you feel more proud about yourself. You're attempting to impose your playstyle and approach to raids upon everyone else. That's what I find extremely problematic here.
