Exactly this, You can choose to NOT do the stuff in week 1. However, we cannot choose TO do it if its delayed a week. Forcing us to wait because you cant make a choice is not a valid solution.
A week won’t kill you. It’s not like there would be any disadvantage to it being delayed. Tomestone gear and crafted would likely be delayed with it, so nothing would be that much different from how every expansion starts—except it’s a week delay instead of two.

I get the feeling responses like this are coming from individuals who either don’t raid or who can’t comprehend what’s actually being requested here.
