Remove the cast time (which seems to double sometimes with lag) and I can go with not being able to cast on the run.
You gotta be kidding me. I like movement, but I don't think casting while moving should happen. Movement doesn't always mean you are doing something with magic DUH.
With Ifrit you rarely have to move and cast as it is, sure its a nice feature to have for say healing while running back from an eruption but really I haven't found that I needed it to win, I could easily wait tell I'm in place to heal or wait for the cast to finish before getting back in place. In fact moving to cancel I think will make the fight much easier so long as there is no delay like there is when currently trying to cancel a spell probably 99% of the time I get caught in an eruption is because of having to heal and an eruption poping (and yes I know when and when not to heal but sometimes you just have to).
You should read the article. It would be horrible cheap for PvP and stuff. I like that they will be implementing this. I play games to have fun and challenge myself. The easier things are, the quicker I become bored. By the way, I loved Dark Souls =).
I hope SE will make it that if you move your spells cancel. I see no issue with this and would welcome it so much.
really bro? DeadRiser is a decent conj and a fantastic thm. Let's not attack other players, about their ability to do their job that's disrespectful.
I wouldn't call it static casting, because your not exactly casting the same spell each time. I like the risk involved in non-movement casting, I think we need to have it implimented before we completely hate it.
This guy gets it! +1With Ifrit you rarely have to move and cast as it is, sure its a nice feature to have for say healing while running back from an eruption but really I haven't found that I needed it to win, I could easily wait tell I'm in place to heal or wait for the cast to finish before getting back in place. (kindof not related but applicable)
From a tank perspective, I need to be aware of my healer's situation... so I see an eruption under my healers feet, I pop my "ocrap" rotation and self heal my way through it. That's right, it makes the tank's job harder, but I'm up for a challenge.
