The Trust Characters take too long to do their attacks.

Must be playing a different game then, never really saw her spamming low tier attacks at all, they were all high tier (Fire IV, Blizzard IV, Thunder IV, Tornado, Water IV etc) but the damage of them was not as high as you would expect.

The AI have specific kits to use in their scripts, so Alisae isn't going to use the entire RDM kit that a player would, or Thancred's kit for GNB. It's almost like they are on a Gambit Macro system so actions are used under certain conditions, which would not be the case if a player was actually controlling them. I still believe and experience trusts to be working better than Squadrons, so to each their own.

I suggest you take a look at her again, then. In detail. While she does have tier 4 versions of the spells, she doesn't use them all the time. Only maybe half the time.

Also, squadrons clear level relevant dungeons in 15 minutes. Maybe less if you really abuse team composition. Trusts don't get anywhere near that fast. The only thing they do better is having AI for mechanics. But squadrons don't even need it; they ignore mechanics completely, because they can.
