Yeah or maybe their AoEs could be unlocked if you level them up. At least then leveling them up gives a bit of reward at the end.I just want to see their damage increased by a reasonable amount to compensate for them not attacking at all when dealing with mechanics. It's a lot more noticeable on fights with a lot of movement.
Perhaps some sort of item could be added in exchange for Grand Company seals or some such and when you use it in a Trust Dungeon it boosts their stats for that run?
All that would change is the animation of their attacks, because their damage is adjusted for runs to take roughly 30 minutes as far as I know. Every trust clear took me about 28-30 minutes when I entered as a BLM.
And now I got curious what happens if I enter as a DPS and do nothing. I should try this for science.
e: I guess it went about as expected. About 30 minutes in just before the second boss room, but I had to go AFK and got kicked out.
