I don't really care if you have a hard-on for this specific YouTuber, but before defending such a blatant display of arrogant ignorance, I'd think twice.

What a strange to quote from me and to then insult me while doing it. I wasn't defending TLP with this comment. I was defending YouTubers in general. Chill on the accusations, mate.

This whole video could be summarized with "I believe I know about game design better than game developers, and I'll go out of my way to sound like a complete arrogant asshat while expressing that concept over and over for eight minutes and change"

If that's your interpretation, that's your interpretation. Perhaps you should take some time and watch some of his other reviews. He's actually quite fair. He's praised FFXIV in past videos. But I guess since he made one that doesn't shower it praise he must be "arrogant" and ignorant", right? What an uninformed, narrow-minded view.

Incompetence would be bad enough, but when it's paired with arrogance it becomes toxic.

Most art and movie critics are able to critique art and movies without going out of their way to disrespect the artists and directors as much as humanly possible.

No matter how many 70's you have. If you're unable to understand this basic concept, and this particular YouTuber obviously is not, then you have no business being a critic.

How many of TLP's videos have you watched? Just this one? I'm feeling it's a safe bet to say it's just this one. If you've even watched this one at all and you're not just jumping on the hatewagon. You keep speaking of arrogance and ignorance, but everything you're saying about him shows you're ignorant of his content, or put another way, you haven't taken the time to watch anything he's done.

I'm sure you'll accuse me, again, of defending him. I would defend someone I disagree with the same way if I saw them being accused of something by someone who clearly knows nothing about the person.
