I follow him on Youtube. I don't see his reviews as actual reviews but just playthroughs or previews of upcoming or popular MMOS. He typically rushes through most of them up until a certain point and comes to a conclusion once he reaches high-level content for the most part. Seeing as the MMO he spent the most time with was BDO, which allows you to do whatever right out of the gate, I could see why he wouldn't like FFXIV.

While he did make some points that I agree with like saying the beginning of the game is a bit slow, it seems like he just doesn't understand how the game works. FF has always been story-driven, unlocking things as you progress through it. I could see how this could be a turn off for a lot of people who just want to play the game. This has been a problem for newcomers looking to play with friends for a LONG time now which is why jump potions have become a thing.

Look at the like to dislikes though. Majority of the comments are saying that he's wrong about it.

Well, it is a thing to have opposing opinion, but the dude clearly just wanted to troll the XIV community.
I mean, ending your video by saying you will eat popcorn while reading comments...it is exactly the type of comment a troll would say.

I believe the quote was in reference to asking Square to remove his video. This would not be a good idea. People need to see that this guy doesn't know what he is talking about (refer to my earlier post as to why i think he is not qualified in his opinion). People are allowed to troll and that's how his viewers and subscribers should know him "a troll" that way they don't take future reviews too seriously either.

The reason he says that at the end is because he's made other review videos where he was attacked, just like he's being attacked now, by that game's fans because he didn't praise everything about the game and had the absolute audacity to say something wasn't done well. He predicted how this community would behave and .... like Pavlov's dog, here you all are attacking him.

As much as I disagree with him, he has the right to express his opinion. There are no grounds on wish to remove his review.
