Gender locked race?

Unless they heavily use the clan of Viera then I imagine someone will felt a bit lost out, which seems unlikely with the description being the very same as the one from Tactics universe and we know from that one the clan difference is skin color (basically).

Definitely whatever they do is not going to appease someone, I would suggest making both genders for both races would appease the most amount of people though :3

Man, if you have been reading my responses you know I have absolutely nothing against beast-like races like Ronso or Bangaa (both of which would be awesome). But no, no one has been asking for Hrothgar since they were just named last week.

This is a weird statement to make, especially since people have been linking the old "new" race poll for Heavenward to show that Viera (demi-beast) races are popular. Yes, demi-beast (mammal + reptile) and new options (included mixed races) for the old races were most popular; however, there is 14% of people who voted that would play some sort of beastmen.

I never said beastman. I said Hrothgar, which is a completely random race. If it were Ronso or Bangaa that were leaked, this wouldn't even be an argument that was happening. I would assume that Hrothgar aren't going to be similar to either, because if they were just Ronso... couldn't they just name them Ronso? Hrothgar are a huge gamble considering they are a completely new race that have no build-up and no concept art to go along with. We can make estimations on what male Viera would look like since we have seen female Viera and concept art, but the only thing we know for sure about Hrothgar is that they have manes. They could just as easily be a super short pony race with poofy hair as they could tall, bara cats.
