.....You're kind of losing me that $299 for a PS4 is "ridiculously overpriced" when you're paying for exactly what you're getting out of the deal. A console with the appropriate tech and specs to run ALL of the PS4 games made for that specific hardware. Of course, a current custom PC would be stronger than the hardware used to make a PS4, that's a no-brainer. You're unfairly pitting up something made in 2018 against something designed and made in 2013. Implying that the console is a scam would be akin towards it only playing certain games or coming with specs less than what was advertised in the beginning.

A lot of what GunksFoy said is pretty close towards what I was getting at really. There's nothing godly about PC's no more than there's anything godly about a PS4 Pro or Xbox360. There's no right or wrong way for a person to pursue either avenue.

Both are plausible ways to enjoy gaming and XIV and one way is not better or worse than the other really.
