Well let me tell you this : this is rude.
And I really, reaaally doubt it always end up in good humour.
That is definitely a lie.

Is it tho? No one has ever called me out for pulling them off the edge literally 2-3 seconds before Titan/Ozma/etc die. Not like I do it all the time. Usually get a "lol" or a bit of banter, not like I do it to screw anyone over.
I think you need to reconsider the way people react.
... I don't know but... feels like soooooooooo many people in here have empathy problems...
Yea a bit of a banter... are you so sure about it ?
Or are you yourself actually one of those trolls ?
Wouldn't surprise me if they'd come in here and advocate strongly against the removal...
Anyway, Neri had a pretty good idea : make it the player to decide.
Have it as an ingame option, to activate or deactivate rescuing on you.

Rather than outright removing Rescue, I would happily accept this as a compromise. WoW has something similar whereby you can use an item (made by engineers) to reverse the effects of movement forcing abilities. I think Priest had one, can't remember its name though. So Blizzard saw the need to add it. And I'm assuming the same would apply here. The reason I can't see it being added though, because of the Japanese mainstay of this game, and I doubt they do this sort of stuff (as it breaches their codes of honour that they for the most part live and die by).
White Mage ~ Sage ~ AstrologianBoi if you got kicked for the same thing in over 20 duties I strongly suggest you think hard on whatever the hell it is you're doing
As I'm sure you are well aware, it takes more than one person to be able to kick a player from a duty, so in all those instances there were at least two people agreeing they'd be better off without you tanking.
Well after I heard of the koike incident, it came to me that otakus could actually be some pretty harsh bullies behind a keyboard !Rather than outright removing Rescue, I would happily accept this as a compromise. But anyway back on topic, yea, I totally follow Neri on that matter, and I now prefer that idea to the complete removal.

If anyone spoke up and expressed that it upset or annoyed them, I would stop, but so far that hasn't happened.I think you need to reconsider the way people react.

Also, you seem very accusatory, I rarely use Rescue and when I do its mostly to be helpful, sometimes I will drag someone to their death when the boss is literally 1% and it doesn't seem to have caused any hard feelings so far.
You don't need to accuse me of being a troll, not everyone who thinks Rescue is useful is out to get you.
