Cash shop pricing is getting a bit much...

I feel like since the thread was posted this morning, the conversation is starting to devolve into two sides – those for it and those against it. From what I’ve read up to this point, there’s been a few snippy comments between the two sides (obviously, it’s not dominating the conversation, but it’s still there). Quit it. The folks who are against it are not unreasonable nor do they need to be insulted or talked down to condescendingly. They have legitimate gripes about recent changes, whether it be because of recent issues with Square’s cash grabby tendencies as of late, or certain things being overpriced, or anything of the sort. I know I haven’t seen any unreasonable comments from those against it…those are legitimate reasons to have a gripe about the cash shop as it is.

Those who have purchased any of the new items from the cash shop update are not idiots either. Regardless of how one may not like those of us who have bought it, or how one may construe this as overall support of Square, some of us just liked the items we saw and bought it. That doesn’t make us wrong either. The nature of the general discussions have just started to become far more negative than usual lately. Is it deserved because of the devs? Maybe, maybe not. The general discussions in particular are now starting to turn into those other toxic forums for other games, and it’s not a good precedent for things.

I get that people are unhappy – but ranting and raving over every little thing is not going to help anything. Some things that have been said, not only in this thread, I have agreed with. Some things I have not agreed with. But literally every single thing since Eureka has been pretty much argued to death, and its getting wearisome because the general discussions are starting to become an overall negative place.
Just some food for thought.
