Cash shop pricing is getting a bit much...

The price for each outfit is average in my opinion. I used to pay a bit more for a B&S outfit, which was non dyeable and couldn't be combined with other armour parts.

Also, there's no real need to buy all those items combined, just like we don't feel the need to buy every single thing for sale in any shop we walk into. I for one tend to choose which one I like best; in today's case, I don't think I'm even buying any. There's no real need for that, as I said.

I think the bigger question is, where IS this money going? I'm no software developer nor am i any kind of expert on how companies budget their money, but it does make me wonder how much of the month from the subs and mogstation actually goes back into the game.

That FFVII remake is still years away despite already being years in development. Gotta pay for it somehow.

They'll stop doing it when people stop rewarding it by buying this stuff. Not before. Clearly they're going to keep pushing the F2P business model with a sub on top as hard as they can get away with. The app was more than proof enough of that.

Yeah, not supporting the cash shop at this rate. I appreciate that the mount is account-wide, but they really should all be for those prices. Of course this isn't a new thing- it's been a problem since implementation. Over ten bucks for armor is unfortunate, and mounts should only be $15 at most.

Well with those prices this game really needs to go F2P.

Mog Station would have a lot more stuff I think if we went F2P. They would start shifting things that used to be part of sub into the Mog. Maybe things like cordials and infusions would be premium purchase only in a F2P game. Glamors are too easy to ignore and not support the game.

If I had to take a guess, it was to try and placate those who are keeping track of the ratio of female/male-only NPC glamours.

I'd like them to make more use of the achievement currency. Hell, add some really expensive and rare stuff to it. That would be something to strive for in the game itself.

The pricing is on par with other sets. While outfits are getting a tad high, mounts are within a reasonable range esp since the new one is account wide.

I still bought both.... T.T that jacket on the outfit......i had needs..... I also can think of a dozen glamours with those leggings....

Blade and Soul was a F2P game with no game purchase necessary.

FF costs $15 a month here, plus the game which is still $50 plus the Stormblood expansion.

It's ridiculous we have any exclusive content in Mogstation; it's just greedy. It's one thing to sell items from previous events, but it's another to have items that were never available in-game. I pay monthly, will continue to pay, and I'm sure it'll be another $50 for the next big patch. Give me access to Mogstation stuff at least once before you lock it behind a paywall.

The money from Mog Store goes to pay the artists that work on those items from what i have read.
Money from our subs however, a large chunk of it goes into their other projects and only a smaller percentages goes back into FFXIV

As for mounts yeah some are rather nice but no way in heck am i paying over $30 for any of them.
