Let's say you are S/E and I am the contractor who paid you to create an exclusive item for my region only.
I am going to to sue hell out of you if you release this item in other region without paying me back first.

That doesn't work when runaway habits effect everyone else playing the game because the bean counters now want to cater to those habits. Numerous threads begging for more things to be added to the mog station instead of in-game where most of it should be. Constant downplaying of how bad it actually is.

Yea, but is it really worth getting yourself all stressed out about something so trivial? You're basically getting yourself (and I'm not meaning you, just a general you) angry over what other people do with their disposable income. The question is, are you getting angry over the items in question because you want them yourself and just either can't afford them and other people can? Or, are you getting angry because you don't want anything at all and feel that because there's no value in it for you that they don't need to exist period for anyone?

I don't really 100% agree with the cash shop either, but I have spent money here and there sparingly over the course of 5 years on items. In total I've only bought 4 things: (Starseeker Bow (Missed the event), the Eastern Lady Togi, the Fuma Kimono, and the blue Carby mount). And that's whenever I had the extra funds to do so and that was my business alone, most of them were just little things to brighten my day if I had a bad day at work or just a crappy month in general.

You can't really put a price on other people's happiness and what they find that has meaning or value to them. And I guarantee if you were to walk up to someone and say "Hey! I see that you're going to spend $24 on that mount in the cash shop. Don't do it."....they're probably going to look at you sideways and question why your opinion has any weight on their own wallet.

I don't know, maybe I'm at that point in age where what I do with my wallet is my business and if someone tries to tell me otherwise, well....unless they're going to offer to pay my sub or utility bills for me, then they can have a foot in the door about what I do with the money.

I was told they were created because, given the way their beliefs and/or governmental controlled views work such as gambling is apparently seen as bad so they don't get Gold Saucer, that since they're not going to get all the content that we get, they get region exclusive items to make up for it or something. I actually refuse to buy any of that stuff simply out of my stubbornness. As much as I want those pretty glams....I absolutely refuse to spend a game's worth of money on an outfit and a mount. That pricing is ABSURD. Everything could cost literally half the price and it would still be a bit high. It's absolutely insane. You have to be mental to justify it. I understand the value of a dollar and on top of my monthly sub I am not letting them suck my wallet dry on stuff that 10 years ago would've been in game. Ridiculous.

Those wearable items include things like relic upgrades that don't change appearance at all.

We're still at 12,550 in total. It's also still including every individual item that things on the mog shop break down into.

There's 368 listings on the mog station.

How much more do you want to break this down? It's only going to make the cash shop look bigger.

Oh this was a special regional thing they're bringing over from a different version of ff14?

Hmm, suddenly I don't feel as annoyed that it's on the cash shop. Not sure why, but it doesn't feel as bad, like it really was extra to our version of the game.

I'd still prefer if cash shop prices, in general, were cheaper though. I can afford it, and I do want some of those items, but at that price (because of the sub) it's just a matter of principle.
Though I suppose it's still cheaper than some other hobbies that exist out there.

It's ridiculous that people thinking feeling entitled is wrong. I absolutely feel entitled to a product if I'm paying for it.

Here's a hypothetical: say you went to the store and paid a dollar for a candy bar. Then the cashier took it, cut off 10%, and asked you to pay another dollar for it. Would you be okay with that?

What infuriates me the most is when people openly support this, and say I'm the unreasonable one for complaining.
