
It's entirely abnormal for more than 500 people to want to access a single zone simultaneously, especially on realms that are not particularly populated. If you can't zone in, wait until it dies down a bit. People still eagerly rush to do Odin and that's half a billion years old, so I sincerely doubt the less-than-a-month-old drops-a-unique-and-highly-recognizable-mount fate is going to suffer from lack of participation anytime soon.
What exactly does this have to do with the OP? Yes, it is entirely abnormal but lets face it, its not like they couldn't have foreseen this. Especially with Odin. Wait until it dies down means the fate is dead. How is that a solution??
