The Server situation is unaccettable

The last time I killed Ixion on Balmung it was completely fine. The first time I killed it was terrible. Maybe I just got lucky, but personally it seemed like it had improved. There was no lag or piles of DC'd people all over the place, which was in stark contrast to previous times.

the people "dc'ing" she is referring too is the zone instance lag that gives everyone the DC symbol. they dont actually DC.

The problem RN is that when Ixion spawns, the zone becomes inaccessible. It's a problem.

I even get the DC symbol and im rocking a top end PC..its server side. If the server cannot handle the amount of data coming and going then....?

It's entirely abnormal for more than 500 people to want to access a single zone simultaneously, especially on realms that are not particularly populated. If you can't zone in, wait until it dies down a bit. People still eagerly rush to do Odin and that's half a billion years old, so I sincerely doubt the less-than-a-month-old drops-a-unique-and-highly-recognizable-mount fate is going to suffer from lack of participation anytime soon.
