Teleporting? Nah, that's not much work. Running to an Npc? Adds time... opening UI window one... opening UI window two... selecting gear piece... tabbing through the log of a gear list that would by now be pushing through the low four hundred pages... checking familiar looking item, wrong one, tabbing more... selecting item, tabbing through the just under 100 possible dye options in game...

See where I'm going with this? No. Thanks. Eff that.

In case the point is flying over your pretty little head, let me make it clear: I loathe systems that exist solely to make simple actions slogs of busywork. A glamour log? Huuuge slog. Even if it has a search function you'd still need to write down the list of outfits somewhere else in game if you don't want to spend hours going through your closet. Why do you want to spend that much time on clothes? All a glamour log would do is entice me to never change my look instead of bouncing between 20 different outfits.

No. Not a slog. Convenience in that everything you want is right there in a single UI without cluttering your inventory. Every example I linked and described in my previous post is extremely easy to use and has NEVER felt like a slog. In fact, it's extremely freeing to be able to save as many armor appearances as I can get my hands on and let my creativity run wild with creating outfits whenever I wish.

This is hilarious. A glamour log would make it even easier to save multiple outfits. Do you live in Opposite Land or something?

I once spent three hours in armored core trying to decide between main hand weapons and generators, and gave up on changing my look in Phantasy Star after getting six shirts. Yes, I absolutely loathe excessive UI windows.

With all due respect, while your concerns are valid, I think you might be blowing things out of proportion.

I'll lean towards troll. She seemingly takes the opposing side of every highly debated topic. It's just a little too coincidental.

You have 20 different outfits you carry around in inventory? It's that kind of nonsense that make people want a glam log. I just simply gave up on it until they make a better system for it, it was easier. But your idea of a glam interface is awful. Hopefully they have better UI designers than that. Digging through 20 different armor sets to find exactly the right piece sounds just as boring, though.

Hell, they already have a better interface - the Marketboard. It's not ideal, but if they simply stripped out the selling aspect and changed the "Try On" option to "Glamour" (with the search function being limited to items you own), it would work better than what we have now. Couple it with a few more filters (Dungeon gear, Tomestone gear, Trial gear, Raid gear, Storyline gear, Crafted gear, Event gear, maybe one or two others), and the system would work just fine.

Also, I'm with you; I've given up on Glamouring until a better system is implemented. I have my one outfit that I like, I re-Glamour gear to it whenever I find a piece that I'm going to "stick with" for at least a week, and that's the extent to which I interact with Glamours.
