How about just slapping as much elements of that chemist/salve-maker concept into another job? How about something that mixes serums and whatnot and then fires it out of a cannon? The result would be a healer giving heals to someone standing in fire by shooting them in the face, so EVERYBODY WINS!!

I also feel like I have to point out for those that want a TP healer that other games have tried similar systems for no-MP healing and have all failed miserably because of how painstakingly hard it is to balance resource management and control for healing with a resource system that usually requires little or no thought with any other role. The goal would be to set TP management just right so that you're not bottomed-out all the time, but it's not an afterthought most of the time like the current TP-based jobs are.
