I think MCH is too much overpowered.
Especially in A6S and A7S, MCH do much better than other DPS excluding MNK.
Does anybody else think that MCH needs a nerf?
(or, other DPS needs a buff)

Also it makes more sense to have your gun held down until you shoot. It would look silly running with your arm like that. A lot of the animations for MCH are similar to Elvaan's from FFXI already.
You mean are we actually worth a damn now? If you are an equally skilled/geared MCH against the 3 melee/caster DPS, you will ultimately be behind them by the end of the fight. Of course depending on the fight also. MCH have arguably the highest burst in the game (Wildfire), and then its all sustaining your DPS from there. RNG also being a heavy factor on where our DPS lies.
People have been requesting jobs like MCH and BRD better catch up to melee/caster in terms of DPS, and now that we are in that state, now some people want us back to being way behind.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Also, WM is never going away. Its a thing for BRD's now. Instead of some of you wanting it to completely go away, why not offer criticism on how you can make the system work. WM is clunky, but it can be great if proper feedback is given to it.
No MCH does not need a nerf. The four (DoW/DoM) classes I play are MNK, NIN, BRD and MCH. MNK is still extremely powerful melee DPS (the same could be said for the class you posted on aka current status of DRG in this game), positionals and keeping GL up is the way to earn that great DPS in most fights on MNK for example in my opinion. BRD is easier to play compared to MCH but at the same time I admit WM feels tacked on and not designed to compliment the class as well as GB is to MCH. MCH is harder to play than BRD due to the large reliance on %chance procs just for the main primary rotation/combo (more master weaving, less muscle memory) compared to BRD where for the most part the rotation is more stable, reliable and less impacted by RNG despite maybe a clipping issue on a specific skill plus tacked on feel of WM vs GB.
One major thing I would change in the short term is unlocking WM earlier on in the leveling process for BRD (maybe around level 30) so that people get used to using it long before they become entrenched/used to playing without it. That for many is part of why they end up put off playing BRD later on. They got so much time and levels not having to deal with WM turning them into physical casters, when they do have to do that so late in the game and so long after starting the class...it becomes grating/annoying because it is a drastic play style change which was dumped on them so late. In terms of DPS a BRD does very well in fights that have multiple targets for prolonged periods of time as the class gets a lot of it's overall DPS from DoTs while MCH on the other hand alternatively gets a lot of it's from it's burst DMG (BRD burst is fairly decent in general too). Both BRD and MCH have subpar AoE's compared to the DoM classes but the same could be said for a lot of the non-DoM DPS classes.
