This would open up 3 slots on your gear(5% accuracy off of 600 is 30). Everything else would still be accuracy melded. Main healers would still miss. Tanks got a bonus 5% chance to hit, because they have to hit from in front, instead of the lower accuracy cap from the rear. Tanks don't really get free accuracy. In dps stance they still need to reach accuracy caps, as everyone else and from the front they still have to stack more.

Thank you found it // https://www.reddit.com/r/ffxiv/comme...ico_choukaigi/

I hope the tp cost of deathblossom gets cut in half and the dmg trippled, doton trippled etc, I don't want just a small potency increase, I want like 300 potency blossoms or something worthwhile, really can't wait. Nin is a good job and was my first 60, this buff will help us on trash mobs and be on par with others aoe (hopefully). glad to see bards get something too.

After they buff NIN AoE who'd be at the bottom of the AoE damage? Dragoons?

I still think Ninja would be at the bottom for melee at least.
As for the Bard buff, rather vague. Hope it is something good at least

Bard's in a weird spot because fight design matters so much re: BRD vs. MCH. If there are a fair amount of long-lived adds (most of Gordias), Bard can really shine, but when you have a high-mobility fight (most of Midas) MCH pulls ahead quickly as we've seen. Part of that is the turret, part is of course their movement procs, and on the other side there's the difficulty of keeping Jaws up during certain jumpropes as well as (and this gets overlooked a lot) the near-uselessness of Flaming Arrow in cases where the boss needs to be moved around a bunch.

So any buff would presumably be aimed at mobility (without making multi-DoT better) and possibly making Flaming Arrow less terrible in those spots, or perhaps something for Foe to either fix or make up for its general clunkiness (maybe they just wave the white flag and make all songs instant cast). I could see returning Straight Shot to 70 TP and just making it always instant, kind of like a pseudo-Ruin2 situation that's not as terrible as Feint.

You could buff a BRD, but how will that balance when fights come out catered more to their style? I think BRD needs adjustments to work better with WM. Also BRD and MCH at least in the next expansion need to have more similar support functions so one does not feel desired over another based on the job alone.

I would argue (and have before) that A1S and A2S were far more anomalous than the Midas fights are. There probably won't be another fight like them until 4.0. There might be another fight with a couple A3S style phases, where there are two sustained targets, but it won't be the whole tier.

Basically the issue is that BRD vs. MCH are even-ish on a dummy basis, and then in realty land there are fairly uncommon fight elements that give BRD a boost, against some much more common ones that help MCH.

At the end of the day the turret, Jaws and (unless it's changed big) Flaming Arrow will always make BRD noticeably worse at high-movement fights with bunches of jumps and so on, but the gap could be made a bit smaller.

The Straight Shot idea would do that while also helping with some of those WM QoL issues. If SE wants the wide mobility gap to remain, then they'd have to do something resembling the BLM vs SMN dynamic, which is very hard to get right.
