What I do is use ogcds as they come back up, but when I see B4B about a quarter of the way back up I start saving them to use with IR.
This is a good fight to highlight my example actually :

The first set of adds spawn at about 55-57seconds into the fight, so it would be a huge dps increase to hold Howling Fists for this, especially since the second set of adds spawn at about the 2minute mark.

So holding the first Howling Fists until 55 Seconds, and then using the second Howling fists at 60 Seconds gives you the potency of 3-6 Depending on the number of monsters you hit, for the price of 2.

Elixir Field is similar, except you can use it in your opening rotation and it will be back up before the 55 second mark. So you should hold your second Elixir Field, until 55 seconds, and then hold you can either hold your 3rd Elixir Field for about ~30 Seconds or try and get your 3rd one off immediately and get your 4th one off in time to hit monsters in the second set of adds.

Timing stuff like this is a far far far far far bigger dps increase over timing buffs with oGCDs.

For example, if you held howling fists for B4B, it will do 1.1x dmg, say it hits for 2k, thats only 200 more dmg you gained for holding it w/e amount of seconds. But say you hold it to hit 2 Monsters, thats 4,000 dmg. Which is 10 times more potential (extra) damage compared to holding it for b4b.
