Also, your mentality doesn't belong to a mmo. You sound like a solo player getting lost in a group based game.
Well when you get reported one day I'll be here having fun while you are sitting raging you can't play anymore

also FFXIV is designed to for solo players. Use of Duty Finder is strongly encoraged by the game itself and many quests cannot be done with a group due to private instancing. It's a pain in the butt to try and play with a friend.

They're third party software and thus against the TOS, Yoshi-P has stated he dislikes them because it breeds eliteism and thus has no plans to add one. (I vaugely recall talk of them consdieirng adding one that shows Your own and only your own DPS to appese the self improvement crowd though). They have and will ban players that publicly admit to using them.

You really think he's gonna get banned for saying something like "my back hurts from carrying you," in a macro? o.O

FFXIV is not designed to be a 100% solo game. It's designed so solo players can progress but you have to party with others in order to do so, whether that be through the Duty Finder or with friends or acquaintances. Once you join a dungeon, you have to think about more than just yourself. Your actions impact the rest of the players in the instance and you should be taking that into account as you play. A truly solo-oriented game would just throw you into an instance with 3 NPC's instead and it wouldn't matter one whit.

Yes, that's exactly what she said.

Yoshi-P has stated he dislikes them because it breeds eliteism and thus has no plans to add one.
I'd like a link to a quote on this, please.

They have and will ban players that publicly admit to using them.
Which is exactly why people generally just kick low performers instead of telling them what's wrong.

How can they improve if nobody's able to tell them what they're doing wrong?

You vaguely recall more misinformation. Please do a little checking into the things you make up.

Not really. They don't care as long as you don't use it to harras people.

    Proof: http://sqex.to/iS7

'We saw the Elysium clear video, and when they cried out at the end it was amazing!'

They were using parsers as well as (third party) audio alarms for mechanics iirc and Yoshi-P has no problem at all with their clear or playstyle.
Idk if there was ever a raid group who got punished, because there exists a (public) video of their run with parsers. I don't think so.

Pretty much, but as this entire situation shows us, people get offended when you ask them a simple question about their DPS, or whatever else in text devoid of tone. Now imagine how fast those same kinds of people will report you for saying 'my parser shows your dps is kinda low' and say you're harassing them with the parser instead of taking the input gracefully.

Safer to not mention it at all, even if the group and player performance stands to benefit from knowing something needs to be improved on. That is what a sizable portion of our community breeds; ignorance. This is why I may seem 'hyper-aggressive' because of these self-destructive mindsets being defended, and indirectly encouraged that make playing with other people outside of our little circles a more taxing experience than it ever should be.

This is why I say much of the community has shit player quality.
