Which is entirely different from "i dont want to do anything except heal" in the context of healers not wanting to dps. The problem behind their belief is that she's drawing from her life to heal, and would eventually die from doing so, rather than drawing it from the elements to heal. People are taking her words and taking it out of context from the actual class quest story.
Maybe you missed this on page 7. This is just one of the times she mentions it. I dunno where I was really going with the second part of that post, I was just replying to the refusal part.
That's exactly the image I'm referring to. She doesn't want to learn about nature or communing with the elements, not <doing anything that isn't healing>. There's more behind the context of that sentence, but people are taking it for face value and applying it something unrelated.

Really it is a matter of using the screenshot because it fits the topic, however brother E-Sumi-Yan states that she can barely use attack magic because she doesn't want to learn anything other than healing. So indirect as it is wanting to do nothing but heal is called out in her story. That's exactly the image I'm referring to. I actually think you're reading too much into it. She says multiple times throughout that she has learnt her Conjure spells purely to heal, and when she learns to embrace the elements, she then begins attacking, and mentions she realises the importance of that part too, not just drawing from the elements, but the power of offence as well. That's exactly the image I'm referring to. I could also say that people are reading too little into it taking that for face value and not how it relates to the quest. I mean she can't use stone or fluid aura without the help of the elements, but the game doesn't empathize that as the importance of it from the story, not as much as her actual well being. I mean it wouldn't be the first time the quest lines do not convey the proper nature of the class/job, in favor of storytelling, but still.I actually think you're reading too much into it. Lol so mean, because they don't dps doesn't mean they are lazy, they probably arnt comfortable and how ppl ignore mechanics as soon as you switch to cleric you would need to switch back to heal...I'm not saying it's okay cause I dps often on each healer especially SCH but some ppl are not that comfortable yet..
For OP ignore them healers are not expected to dps in casual content if dps sucks then guess who fault that is...the damn dps....now the tank dying cause you were arguing is your fault shame on you for feeding the troll just keep healing and eventually you will get comfortable with stance dancing...but don't go near raid content cause everyone's job is to dps XD
