This isn't WoW. This is not hardcore raiding game. Try Alex Savage. Normal difficulty WoW raids can be cleared on the first day.In world of warcraft I would raid 5 days a week while attending school as well as working part time. I ran regular and heroic mode 10 and 25 man and cleared every raid in BC, WOTLK, Cata and Mists. I know these two games are different so I am not here to say that wow's raiding is better or anything.
However, the issue I see is that the alex normal mode is 1-2 trash packs and a boss and then your finished. In every raid in wow I have been in, it took you days to clear the whole place. I remember back in WOTLK there were 15 bosses in Naxxramas. There was also a dragon boss (forgot the name) but even that encounter had 3-9 trash packs where they could all drop rare materials and random epic gear. In ICC, there is 12 bosses there. There was separate wings. Ulduar (which was the best raiding experience I have ever had in any game) had 13 bosses, 14 if you counted Algalon.
But they don't have to be they can be much more. Problem is ya dev size but also because they keep puting stuff into the duty finder. I like the OPs input I think it shows a lot of what's wrong.
Why would it be a problem is there's more raid content?

I'll say this again: this game is not a raiding game.
Creating raids takes a huge amount of resources but only caters to a very small proportion of the population. That's why they made normal and savage. Normal, or story mode, is purposefully easier so that they can let those who don't raid in statics or organised pugs access to the story. I don't raid with my FC and have only done T1-5 of coil and missed the story in it. Considering Coil is about Bahamat, the cause, if not the calamity, it was important that everyone should get to see it. This was not possible even with the nerfs and echo.
Even WoW introduced four difficulties for raids so that as many people as possible partake.
If you want more raid content, sure, but no need to hide it behind a couple packs of trash. Faust/ADS are perfect examples of extra raid enemies, more like a mini boss to gauge your parties skill/damage output/ cohesion. I don't mind that, but the long walk to Caduceus? Remember sac-pulling? There's a reason for these little gimmicks to pop up; we don't want to clear "trash"(the name says it all right?) on the way to the real fight.
But it IS a raiding game. If it was not then raids would not be in this game at all. Just like if this game was NOT a story game then the MSQ would not be here at all either.I'll say this again: this game is not a raiding game.

SE needs to revamp the way they do raids. Maybe not putting as much trash in but 4 bosses and thats it? Ulduar in wow was the best raid I have ever done on heroic and regular modes back in the day. It had 14 bosses. Why am I not ok with only 4 bosses? Because plenty of other developers out there are making their raids worth the price of a subscription, SE sadly doesn't and I hope this changes.

If you go with that thought then it is not a raiding game it is a PvP game because if it was not then PvP would not be in this game at all...
So who here really thinks this is a PvP game? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller... Bueller??
Just because a game has some element in it does not really make the game that type of game unless that is the only element in the game or that element is the majority of said game.
The cat is bemused =>.>=
Asking for more raid content that is more in depth and creative is not a bad and non-justified request. It is a raiding mmorpg because that is what its end game is designed around, sorry to say. SE just needs to implement more raids, better content, and more creative raids for the raiders out there.
It is a raiding game, pvp game, story game, crafting game, gathering game........You know an MMORPG. The game is everything that is in it, every aspect of the game should be taken into account. If the PVPers want more content that is more in depth, then they should be able to ask for it. The same as us raiders would like you know, actual raids? It is a justified request of SE to add in more things and stuff to do at end game then just 4 bosses....If you go with that thought then it is not a raiding game it is a PvP game because if it was not then PvP would not be in this game at all...

That's deflection, I never stated asking for anything is wrong, I said you're wrong stating this is a raiding mmo. Clearly you've missed 90% of the endgame material if you believe this:Asking for more raid content that is more in depth and creative is not a bad and non-justified request. PVP(Endgame)
Hunts(Endgame)
Gathering unspoiled nodes(endgame)
Crafting star recipes(Endgame)
Relic quests(Endgame)
Expert Dungeons(Endgame)
need I go on?
