Here we go again. Being good at a game means you're not having fun and you're an elitist pig. Good stuff.I could really careless how long it takes to do a DF, or how much more dps I do then the next person. Trying to be an elitist on a game such as this is laughable. Play the game to have fun, enjoy the random people you play with in a DF, help them if needed. This idea of sprinting to the end and walking over others to do it is retarded. Run your DF with your static if you want to do them quickly. As a dps wating 15+ mins to a que, why even start an argument? Just do your job the best you can and understanding of others about it. At any rate I think everything has been said in the 49 pages of post. Just keep in mind to be an asshole or intolerant to others on this type of game is silly.
Above picture is hilariously accurate.
I'm getting real sick of tanking for clueless DPS who do 300s with 170+ gear. 35 minutes stay 35 minutes even with all the better things I get.
I'm getting real sick of doing my best as DPS only to have it all wasted because our tank and other DPS are underperforming. Most of the time as DPS I AM THE TANK, so what's the freaking point of being DPS if I can't enjoy DPS because I gotta play pretend tank when the tank sucks!? Now I automatically assume the next paladin I'm stuck with will just fail and I'm not OK with that!
I am getting sick of how clueless players get. A FCmate who mains SMN harassed me about my AoE rotation as SMN anytime I use or mention it to help other new players with their AoE rotation. He claimed Bliz2 sucks cause it sucks for BLM, it was obvious he didn't bother to research or try, and he was 180+ and I was 160. No matter what I said, even when I was the only one saying the numbers between all the other options, he while backed up by two equally clueless players brushed it all off. It was so bad I literally had to show him the parse to give him one hell of a wake up call, because he was doing 400 single target and 600 AoE, while I did 680 single target and 1000 AoE. He doesn't bother me about it anymore.
And I'm especially getting sick of having be subjected to so many more problems with players than I EVER had with in 6 years of WoW, because of this.

Because I'm curious how your thinking works and am not sure if you just try to troll everyone that uses the word elitist or honestly think people are saying this, what part of what the person said that you're replying to said anything like that?
They didn't say being good at the game made you elitist. They didn't even mention being good at the game at all. They said they don't care how long a DF takes or how much more DPS they do. They said that trying to be elitist was laughable. They say to have fun playing the game. They said to enjoy the people you get and help if needed. They said that stepping on others to get finished faster is retarded. They said to run your DF with a static if you want them done quickly.
What they didn't say was "Being good makes you elitist". In fact, they didn't really qualify anything about what makes you elitist outside of... y'know, being an elitist. They also didn't say being good wasn't having fun.
So I'm honestly curious, do you somehow think that people are actually saying what you make up, or are you completely aware that what you're saying isn't accurate at all to what they said?
Because from where I'm standing, the only one linking elitism with being good is you. The person you responded to said nothing even remotely similar to that, unless for some reason you assume that every single person that's good at the game must also care about how long they spend in a DF run and how much more DPS they do, which goes back to you being the one linking being good at the game and being elitist.
Can you actually answer where you allegedly see the person saying people that are good at the game are all elitists and not having fun? Can you point out where the person you responded to said anything about good players at all?
Make it its own window, I guess.
I'm 95% positive it's because of of ps3 limited 512MB memory. There's just not enough of that to constantly show all of that. I think there's a hard limit of five open windows or something for PS3, so you can hide stuff in there and still be sure you're inside your memory limits, if you open a bunch of them.TP bar and things
That is some seriously bad gear on the BLM, if their highest hit was only 5304.
Yoshi-P is doing his best and is patching Endwalker. Please wait warmly until it is ready.
at least they actually used fire 4? lol....on topic though, lately more than ever does it feeling like bad players are ruining the game experience for me. People should not be joining Dusk Vigil with a NQ 115 weapon (basically nq = i90 weapon or less) or ATMA (LOL U READ THAT RIGHT, AN ATMA WEAPON). They will be full 120 gear and using some garbage tier weapon because they dont understand how stats work in the game.Make it its own window, I guess.

To be fair, this game does nothing to help a player know what the actual effects of the stats are. Only by digging into the guts of the game and a hell of a lot of data collection do we have the stat weights and research we do. Not everyone has time/wants to dig into the forums (especially forums filled with people telling them how they are nub scrubs) and just want to play the game....
And the reason they probably have full i120 gear and only the i115 weapon specifically? Because no one runs the damned Crystal Tower anymore so there is no easy way to get the Encrypted Allagan Tomestone to buy the Poetics weapon, and some don't have a ton of gil coming in so they can buy a crafted HQ weapon.
