My boyfriend and I spent 3 hours trying to get the best Cure II crit instead of doing something remotely productive.

    You cast Cure II.
 Critical! Kallistra Noblus recovers 18129 HP.
    So worth it.

[EDIT] Just so people know how we did it, if they chose to be that bored.
    Warrior in Defiance
    Convalescence
Mantra (on Warrior, none of our Monk friends wanted to help out :c)
    Scholar who used Fey Illumination
    Divine Seal
    i196 WHM

We did try it on my AST as well, we got 17k but the chat log doesn't record the 40% heal that Synastry gives and no one saw the exact numbers. >.< Not to mention that we had no WHM in the party so we were missing the MND bonus.

some days ago, roulette EX, (n)everreap
random dps alwasy runs ahead, tank (in ts) rages more every time. at the last trash pull before final boss he runs ahead again and we decide to just sit down and let him handle it himself. after the inevitable death he insults me and gets a votekick for it (wasnt me that initiated it, but i surely clicked yes)
after clearing final boss it turns out the other dps (not the one we got as replacement) was a friend of the kicked one, which made me feel kind of bad
sometimes you have to let dps (and tanks) fail so they learn, but its just sad when it develops this way

I've been guilty of all sorts of things healing :O

Wod/ct/st runs if my cohealer kept dying from staying in cs and dpsing at the wrong times, I'll let them lay dead and I don't rez them. I'll let them walk back after we clear the boss/mob or if they're fortunate a smn or another healer will Rez them. Same thing with dps and other alliance healers/dps dying over and over again from ignoring mechanics. Gitgud or walk the walk of shame back to your party, idc.

I'm also guilty of leeching/detrimenting the wrong players at times. Whoopsies.

If you repeatedly stand in avoidable aoe or stupidly stand with the tank getting cleaved in the face, I might let your health get really low to scare you into correcting the situation, or if it continues, let you die. I hate wasting my mana when I could be getting dps in.

If you pull something as dps, I'm going to let you tank it and not heal you unless it was obviously by accident.

If the dungeon starts and you run off while I'm casting protect and you are out of range for it, I'm assuming you don't need it that bad so I might let you die tanking a mob to the face if I can't keep up with healing and remind you to give me two seconds to cast protect before pulling the next time.

The vengeful healer in me admits to playing chicken with health bars when people don't dodge or tanks refuse to use cool downs. You can't heal stupid but you sure can /not/ heal it. I find that works a lot better. I also admit to getting so fed up with people that they mysteriously died and were left dead on the floor of the last boss as a farewell present for standing in every red circle they could find or getting nasty with my tank. Nobody puts my tin can in a corner.

Meanwhile the clumsy part of me totally owns up to getting frisky with the cleric stance button and occasionally causing a near death, casting benediction on myself by accident, forgetting to lock my bar and removing Cure II /AND/ Medica II mid boss, dropping my mouse mid boss and trying to quickly recover without it only to walk right off the edge of Titan hard as well as numerous other offenses that no one probably noticed but that left me doing that cat thing where you try to walk it off with dignity. Yep. Totally on purpose folks.

Since you will never compensate a real DPS you're just causing loss of raid-dps. /shrug
Healer dps is futile if on cost of DPS dps.

Or other way round: You'll lose more mana if you let a DPS die instead of healing him. Because you would need to do more than double your original dps to compensate him and tanks might run out of mitigation CDs, respectively get more damage (which results in that you'll have to heal more).

That's not your decision, that the decision of the tank. And if I pull as a DPS with a single attack or even a facepull... it's you who'll have emnity with next heal (or your fairy).

Either way, it's just stupid. Stupid like a tank not getting hate on purpose from the fairy (or healer himself) if it happens that they pull hate.

If you're not comfortable with a player initiate a kickvote. But don't let the other two players suffer just because you want to teach a single dumbass a lesson.
You'll deserve a kick as well for such a behaviour, if it's on purpose.

Was doing A3 once and as soon as we start the other healer (a miqo scholar) makes a joke about me being an evil WHM lalafell and that I would probably get everyone killed. Well on last phase after messing up a +- tether she get floored (so satisfying) so I use swiftcast, stop a second to think, and cast a big evil Medica 2...she spent the rest of the fight eating dust of course.

Also not really a healer thing but once in a Bismark farm, I was using weather macros to warn the rest of the party in last phase...after a few clears my brain decide to stop working and I use a rain macros during a wind weather and watch while 5 people happily stand on the border of the platform ready to perform the leap of faith....at least they learned an important trust lesson.

I've on more than one occasion let the other Healer stay on the floor if they are annoying. Especially if it's something I could easily solo heal like Chrysalis for random trial roulette. Had this guy once who died from taking too many of the same orbs there and after that he kept bugging me for a res in chat so I just ignored him for the rest of the fight. Dying from something that is your own fault and then being like "Res...Res healer wtf? Bro res me!" is a quick way to make me hate you.

Also lately people on the second boss of Fractal are getting on my nerves. Normally I should be able to be in cleric stance for almost the whole fight but people keep refusing to dodge it's club attacks including melee dps who take like 50% HP damage from it's 360 attack so I have to actually give them a heal before it goes on a charging rampage. Just why? You'll lose like maybe a single attack if you dodge that. It's like now people just expect the Healer to top them up through it instead. I've just "forgot" to heal them a couple of times when that happens even wiped the party to make a point. They'll probably just kick me but whatever It'll take me all of 5 minutes to find a new party.

I had to reset the PS4 to turn it back on because nothing was working. Needless to say, I was kicked by the time I loaded the game.
I cant remember exactly, but its either "L1 or L2 + touch pad " to toggle it on and off

I wouldn't be so quick to call this out. I've witnessed DPS bad enough that they consistently fall below what the healer can produce.

Personally I have a difficult time allowing others to die even when they should. However, if someone dies repeatedly for no good reason or is endangering others by failing at mechanics, I will leave them on the floor.

It's the "Scroll lock"-button on keyboards by standard.
