For all the cruel,sneaky or just those fail moments that you pretend are not your fault this is the thread to confess your sins!

So I'll start with one from last night doing EXDR. Got Fractal run going fine. The part before the last boss where you are killing mobs on different platforms those trap things spawn that stun you as you stand in them. The Bard is caught in one so I esuna the stun and they run out of it then a second later run back in the same one and get stunned again.

Sulky WHM is not happy with this development so I opt to teach them a lesson and don't free them. Both turrets lock on their attacks to the Bard who meets their maker after taking two hits. I won't pretend it wasn't a little satisfying. But later I felt kind of guilty making them fall to a cheap death....Just a little guilty but it was funny watching them derp into the stun and die.

Dpsing as a whm in neverreap on a boss and you see the tanks HP, and know hes about to die, but you are casting stone 3, so u let him die and just SC res him.Ya im evil but that dps tho!

You're the wrong job. You're a natural black mage. Only job that when given the choice between life and finishing a cast will choose finishing a cast 90% of the time.

I queued for mentor roulette and got Tam Tara on my lvl 60 WHM. I spent most of the run petting my cat and the only spell I used was cure.

It was so relaxing.

Last time I got a low level dungeon in a roulette I healed the whole dungeon including bosses with cleric stance on just to try to make it harder. It didn't work. >.<

Yeah, I like to take matters into my hands, a bit too much, too.

There have been several instances where I'll run a High or Expert, see no new player bonus, and a DPS will do mechanics wrong, or die to needlessly easy mechanics. At first I try to be the good person and ask them if they understand the mechanic, or flat out tell them.

However, if they choose to ignore me, and I have to keep wasting my mana to cleanse, heal and rez them... I will start taking matters into my own hands. Letting them suffer, or flat out die in hopes that'll teach them the lesson. But.. there have been times that has backfired because either mechanics that don't necessarily happen to the healer start happening to me, or it causes the mob or boss to take longer and everyone starts running out of resources, etc. And once or twice I've caused flat out wipes because of it. >.o

I like to think I don't do that anymore, except for an all friends group where it's common place to joke around. But a player who is ignoring everyone's advice, and catches me in a bad mood...

Sometime, if the tank or the dps aren't trying to dodge aoe. I stop healing them. Magically, they start to dodge.
It's ok when they take unecessary damage while trying their best.

For some reason, that first boss in Fractal just lags me the hell out. I can do the rest of the bosses and even Nevereap with little lag problems, but that first Fractal boss always gets me. I don't dare heal that dungeon because of that. ^^ Then the healers get mad at me after the second hit I take and stop healing me altogether as a 'lesson'. I don't mean to get hit! honest! D:

Really? It does next to nothing on everyone but the Tank and if you position behind it you have forever to dodge it's AoE's. You just run out and back in again. Don't know how anyone can lag that much that they can't do the single mechanic you need to dodge. It's like a big cone so if you stay on his but you barely need to move at all. For the second set with the circles just move out then run downwards and out to dodge the circles and the next cone

Yeah, I know. And it always shows me as being out of the zones and I'll still get hit. I have no idea why it's that boss that always hits me with horrendous lag either. It makes no sense what so ever. You'd think the third boss in Nevereap would lag me out or any of the others but it's just that single encounter. =/ No clue why.

My confession is I was changing my iheartRadio channel and let the tank die by mistake. He/She said that they where new so I wasn't expecting such a large pull and thought I had time for better music. lesson to set my music before hand....

Does getting to "More than a Feeler" (the guildhest with the morbol that you need for a mainline quest) and forgetting Cure 2 is available due to having gone through most of the ones before it and not having it count? -.-

On the other hand, dps were doing bugger all with the bubbles, so it probably wouldn't have made a difference, but still ....
