I mistarget Leeches/Esuna/Exalted Detriment way more often than I like to admit.
Sometimes when I run if my dps is running ahead of my tank I watch their health dip deeply, so I save them with big heals then if I see it 5 times in a row they sometimes get a few cleric stance heals. hehe or death d: In cutter's cry if someone caught in the chimera's ice blast too much they just die and I say lag got me.

On trash mobs I keep hitting 1 for cure while watching a movie at the side

I use alt to mod some of my hot keys... Alt +a puts me in Alliance chat mid healing because I hit a without letting go of alt on accident. And I am hitting buttons but they're all showing up in chat window... Party wiped. Lol... Really need to change that keybind but... I keep forgetting about it because I do it so rarely... Then someone else dies...
I like to wait for the SCH, AST or PLD to Stoneskin the entire party before I swiftcast Stoneskin II. Sometimes I stare them in the eyes before doing it.
As a SCH/AST i aways wait for the WHM to cast protect and Stoneskin 2...idk..i just feel like that's part of their job y'know.
As for the thread, i aways feel guilty when i'm DPSing >_> i can't stand watching the tank's HP reaching 50-60%.
Also, when a DPS refuses(yes even if you ask them) to dodge mechanics when THEY CAN! (BRDs, SMNs, MCHs, Meeles...) when i'm with AST i sometimes leave them to die....(as SCH Eos is too kind and innocent to refuse healing them)
When i know the WHM is going to use assize/Medica/Cure 3 and i still use indomitability in despair and end up overhealing >_< (and losing a golden stack)
When i accidently use Bole(10% def) or Balance(10% damage) or spire (tp regen) on myself >_>
When i cast Benediction on the wrong player T-T
When i use swiftcast to Raise someone and i see that my co-healer is already casting raise without swiftcast, instead of raising the player i use it on a medica 2/aspected helios/ succor and leave the Co-healer casting his 8 seconds raise.....(that's evil i know... i feel so sorry for this)
When a DPS pulls i just let death take them away, sorry not sorry.

This thread cracks me up and makes me feel better. Thanks for that...xD
I've been guilty of all sorts of things healing :O
Wod/ct/st runs if my cohealer kept dying from staying in cs and dpsing at the wrong times, I'll let them lay dead and I don't rez them. I'll let them walk back after we clear the boss/mob or if they're fortunate a smn or another healer will Rez them. Same thing with dps and other alliance healers/dps dying over and over again from ignoring mechanics. Gitgud or walk the walk of shame back to your party, idc.
I'm also guilty of leeching/detrimenting the wrong players at times. Whoopsies.
If you repeatedly stand in avoidable aoe or stupidly stand with the tank getting cleaved in the face, I might let your health get really low to scare you into correcting the situation, or if it continues, let you die. I hate wasting my mana when I could be getting dps in.
If you pull something as dps, I'm going to let you tank it and not heal you unless it was obviously by accident.
If the dungeon starts and you run off while I'm casting protect and you are out of range for it, I'm assuming you don't need it that bad so I might let you die tanking a mob to the face if I can't keep up with healing and remind you to give me two seconds to cast protect before pulling the next time.
Since you will never compensate a real DPS you're just causing loss of raid-dps. /shrugIf you repeatedly stand in avoidable aoe or stupidly stand with the tank getting cleaved in the face, I might let your health get really low to scare you into correcting the situation, or if it continues, let you die. I hate wasting my mana when I could be getting dps in.
Healer dps is futile if on cost of DPS dps.
Or other way round: You'll lose more mana if you let a DPS die instead of healing him. Because you would need to do more than double your original dps to compensate him and tanks might run out of mitigation CDs, respectively get more damage (which results in that you'll have to heal more).
That's not your decision, that the decision of the tank. And if I pull as a DPS with a single attack or even a facepull... it's you who'll have emnity with next heal (or your fairy). If you pull something as dps, I'm going to let you tank it and not heal you unless it was obviously by accident.
Either way, it's just stupid. Stupid like a tank not getting hate on purpose from the fairy (or healer himself) if it happens that they pull hate.
If you're not comfortable with a player initiate a kickvote. But don't let the other two players suffer just because you want to teach a single dumbass a lesson.
You'll deserve a kick as well for such a behaviour, if it's on purpose.

Was doing A3 once and as soon as we start the other healer (a miqo scholar) makes a joke about me being an evil WHM lalafell and that I would probably get everyone killed. Well on last phase after messing up a +- tether she get floored (so satisfying) so I use swiftcast, stop a second to think, and cast a big evil Medica 2...she spent the rest of the fight eating dust of course.
Also not really a healer thing but once in a Bismark farm, I was using weather macros to warn the rest of the party in last phase...after a few clears my brain decide to stop working and I use a rain macros during a wind weather and watch while 5 people happily stand on the border of the platform ready to perform the leap of faith....at least they learned an important trust lesson.
